Think it's time for my son's first haircut and wondered if anyone knew of a place in OKC (I live in NW) that might be good -- I'm sure you can go anywhere, but I know my sister-in-law found a place where she lived that made it fun for the little ones (they sat in a little car/haircut chair, etc.) and didn't know if there was anything like that here. Thanks in advance!
There is this cute little place called "Snip Its" you can google it because there are a couple of locations around town.
I go to the one on I-240 and S Penn.
Snip-it's... I have never been there but my friends have and their kids love it.
Snip Its - it is located near Penn and Memorial by the Toys R Us, only does kids haircuts and services.
Snip Its is where I've taken my son since his first haircut. They're great. I took him somewhere else once and they took too long (he's 2 1/2, not patient at all) and didn't do all that good of a job. We go to the one by Quail Springs Mall. Good luck!!

When my little guy turned 1, we took him to snip-its. It's on the SW side of okc, off I240, you can find the address in the phone book. It was awesome, a bit pricey, but it's a first haircut. The stylist blows bubbles at the kids while they're walking to the chair, and they make the haircut fun. Older kids can play video games while they're getting their hair cut and it's a really fun atmosphere. They give you little bag for clippings from you little one's first haircut, and if you pay extra, they'll also take their picture and give them a 'Certificate of Bravery' for their first haircut. Then they have this machine by the door where they insert this big keycard and put a little bit of hair in the machine and it pops out a toy for them on the way out the door. Definatley worth it. They'll even do weird stuff. For my little man's first haircut we got him a Mohawk, it was too cute! Have fun with it, whatever you do! -S.
