"The Notebook"

"Water for Elephants" is romance. My husband called it "The Notebook for Elephants" b/c it reminded him of the notebook.

"The Matchmaker" is a comedy for sure. I guess my others above are not quite comedy. The Matchmaker takes place in Ireland and stars Jeanene Garafalo (sp?)

The VOW! Excellent movie for a romantic time. I know its not out of DVD yet, but it's a good one to go see.

"Amelie" and "Antonia's Line" are two of my favorite foreign films that are either comedic or female-centric.

I find the chick flicks (romantic movies, romantic comedies, with happy endings) I like the most that are on TV I find on the Hallmark channel.
