yes, i have rosacea as well, and i buy hydrocortisone (1 percent) over the counter/ and is cheap! this works great for me, as far as to treat it. i unfortunatly dont know of any hypoallergenic cleansers, other than cetafyl.
I was told I have rosacea about a year ago. I'm having a real hard time finding cleansers that don't freak my skin out. Anything I use has to be soap free, oil free, fragrance free, the works. I typically use Oil of Olay cleansers but sometimes it's like my skin is getting used to it and not responding. I'm currently having a bad flareup and even the cream I bought over the counter specifically for rosacea isn't working. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I use Cetaphil/ Target has a generic brand. It is non-alkaline, non-comedogenic, and fragrance free. It's very easy on the skin. I do not recommend the bar soap, it leaves a heavy residue on skin. I have the same problem w/ Rosacea. Oh, and I just recently found out Clinique has a new line for rosacea. Or you could ask your doctor. Mine perscribed this stuff called Metronidazole Topical Gel. Hope this helps!
my mom has excema (sic) so in a similar predicament. She uses Purpose.
Have you ever tried Mary Kay? I know a few people that have rosacea that have had success with Mary Kay products. If you would like to try please give me a call. ###-###-#### E. Baker
Cetaphil usually works pretty well for that!
I don't have rosacea but I know most commercial products contain chemicals. I've been using an incredible all natural line - you can check it out here: www.phporder.com/HealthyLiving
Hey, how about handling the rosacea, then you don't have to have a cleanser for that. Really.

in great health, doc
Eucerin has a redness reducing line and everything can be bought separately. They have a cleanser, day lotion, night cream and anti-aging cream. Clinique has an extensive redness reducing line including their new face powder which sells for $32.50.
My mom has rosacea and although it's extremely expensive, the only thing that has worked for her is L'Or De Vie from Dior. I questioned whether she should couldn't find something a little more reasonable, but I can't argue with results. For years her skin was all blotchy and red and since she's been using this stuff it's smooth and clear. You can only get it at Saks or Nordstrom I think...
Check into Mario Badescu products. Go to their website, fill out questionaire and they will send you free samples! Love their poducts! Have you seen a derm? I know of a cleanser called Plexion (RX needed) and it is for Rosacea. If not what about a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil?
