Does anyone know of any places to do like a girls night out cooking party/lesson or anything like that? We are trying to do plan a non traditional shower for someone who enjoys cooking and baking. Any ideas will be helpful

Check out the Kroger School of Cooking & Cook's Warehouse. I believe that both do this kind of thing.
Have Fun!

Hello. We did a bridal shower for my friend at the Kroger School of Cooking in Roswell. It was a lot of fun. The only thing I will stress is that the focus is not on the bride. But everyone really enjoyed it and the food we made was great.
Another place you might want to check out is the Cook's Warehouse. They have locations in Brookhaven and Decatur.
Hi A. K.
I recently attended a Girl's Night Out cooking lesson at The Cook's Warehouse in Atlanta. They have two locations. It was great! You can go on there website and register for there classes. Great food and wine.

Try 'My Girlfriend's Kitchen'. I have some girlfriends who went and had a great time and have really enjoyed the food.
Or you could try 'Cook's Warehouse'...tell them what you are looking to do and see if they can set you all up with something.
Hope that helps. Have fun.
Hi,
You could try Super Suppers.
Besides the things mentioned... You could ask a Pampered Chef Consultant. Mine does cooking classes and showers--plus you could have it at your house. I'm not sure what area you are in, but you could contact my consultant, and she could tell you if she could do it or refer to someone in your area. See below for contact info. ~T. B.

There's a place at The Forum in Norcross that might work. I can't remember what it's called, but it's next Moe's and Snip-it's. It's one of those places where you can go and put together a certain number of meals.
A. I'm sure by now someone has mentioned SuperSuppers or other similar places ... www.supersuppers.com ... they have the ingredients prepared and set up at various stations so you and your guests assemble the recipes and package them in portion sizes of your choice. They have nice music playing, usually serve wine and little snacks - it's lots of fun even without a party. But they will reserve their facility for private events too.
Have fun ~ J. in Chamblee
Try http://www.eatnirvana.com/, their food is good, and it's set up really neat. they also have nights where the kids make their own ice cream flavor. and another night the kids make their own pizzas. there's one in alpharetta, and another in rowell. there might be more, but those are 2 that i've seen.
I would recommend Dinner A'fare in Buford, near the Mall of GA. I beleive they have other locations as well in the Atlanta Area. This would be perfect for a shower gift. Have all her friends pitch in a pay for the party and her portion....
Dinner A'Fare...this is a great place. My sister and I attend cooking sessions regularly. They have a number of locations around town...I visit the Dinner a'Fare on WebGin. Dinner A'Fare will host a shower.
Here is the web site:

I don't know where you're located but Harry's in Roswell or Whole Foods in Duluth both having cooking schools. Check out their Website to see what they have coming up and see if any of the classes appeal to you. I've taken one class there and was very happy with it.
If you're looking for a more private girls' night with a cooking lesson, Nirvana is a restaurant that will do that for you. There's one in Alpharetta and another location in the N. Fulton/S. Forsyth area.
Good luck and have fun! That's my kind of girl's night out!
