Giant Eagle Brand Diapers...any Good?

I bought a pack of Giant Eagle brand diapers yesterday for the first time. I normally buy Pamper Cruisers for my daughter, but thought I'd give these a shot. I'm curious if anyone has anything good or bad to say about them? Any allergic reactions?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Since she goes to daycare two days a week, I sent a pack there to experiment, and I have to agree with Elizabeth, that they just don't feel as nice. They seem to do the job, but are a bit stiff. I also think that they might run a bit small. They just seem a bit more snug on her than Pampers. So I've decided to stick to Pampers while I shop around.

I haven't tried them, and if I remember correctly they contained petrolatum which is why I didn't try them. Petroleum/petrolatum are avoided in this house, so check the ingredients if this is a concern for you. Happy diapering :)

I never tried those...but I loved Nanny's from ALDI. Very soft, like cloth!

I used to use GE diapers with my first...they changed their manufacturer a couple years ago and I personally think that they suck now. i also buy pampers because i like the fact that they stretch and move with baby. the GE ones used to do that but after they switched the manufacturer seem like they are not flexible at all. again, this was a couple years ago so i;m not sure if they have changed again since then or not.

I used generic diapers for my son and he did not have any issues. They were cheaper and worked as well. I would just make sure she does not get a rash. If she does not use them and save some money.

They used to be ok, but they changed them a couple years ago and now I think they are pretty awful. They do the job ok, but they just don't feel as nice... which may be more my issue than anything else. I buy Huggies at Costco, and that is about the cheapest way to go... except for cloth, of course!

I did not realize that Giant Eagle had their own brand of diapers? I have not heard any thing about them good or bad. Like Denise P. said I have heard lot's of mom's love the Aldi's brand diapers and say they work great.

Sorry never tried them...I am a Pampers Swaddlers/Crusiers buyer myself. I have never had a problem with them...Huggies left sand like crystals on my daughters bottom never used them again. I have heard Luvs are a brand of pampers and cheaper. Good Luck!
