A group of us (thirty-somethings) are going back to our college alma mater for Homecoming. One of our friends is extra fun and after she had found and wore her four year old's swim goggles out at a bar recently (after a few drinks, she had found them in her purse while in the restroom and walked back out through the crowded bar with them on) , she decided we should all bring something to wear at homecoming. It is supposed to be a surprise to everyone else, so I can't ask my friends for help! I am not very creative. Any suggestions on something fun or goofy that could fit in a purse that I could break out? All I can come up with so far is a fake tattoo. Yes, we are leaving our children at home so we can go act like children. (I can't wait!)
Thanks for all the great ideas! Got blonde/glittery hair extension headband and fake tattoos from dollar store. My hair got worn by most of the crew througout the night, mostly by the one guy in our group! And we broke out the tattoos late late in the evening and they got put on some interesting areas of other people we met. I got voted best prop! So much fun but hanging with the college kids made me feel a little old, and man am I tired today! Go MU!
They have these full arm tatoo sleeves you could pull on. Big, dorky glasses, bubba teeth. Mullet wig.
How about this time you all take goggles and when she goes to the bathroom, everybody whips them on and when she comes back--it will be hilarious! Go to the dollar store and pick up a pair for everyone!
A hot pink wig. It has to be something embarassing that will get everyone to stare at you. We wore hot pink wigs for a bachelorette party and boy was it an attention getter!
Funky headbands in school colors, or spirt fingerz?
My friend has a garden gnome that she takes EVERYWHERE with her! Her FB page is filled with pictures of her garden gnome in the most hilarious places.
If you got each lady one, you could make it a competition to see who can get the best pictures of the gnome, and then over the years you can all compare your gnome's adventures.
Yes I like wigs, feather boas, tiaras! I always try to wear the school's colors as well. If you're staying in a hotel/condo or for the weekend, our most fun comes from the questions in a box type games or books, you'll learn a lot about your friends! Have fun!!
How about a bunch of bangles? A crazy hair clip, hat, headband, earrings, funky shoes..how about those new year's eve glasses that have the year you guys graduated?
What is the school maskot? I would find something very over the top to take to the game. Make a tshirt you can have on underneath your normal clothes. It is really easy to paint a t-shirt. All the supplies are at Hobby Lobby. You can really surprise everyone when you start to undress then BAM look at me!!!
