The best movers ever: http://www.willamettevalleymoving.com/aboutus.nxg

They were really fast, very friendly, very professional, reasonably priced, on time, etc. And they have this awesome system of wardrobe boxes where they drop the boxes by your closet, you put the hangers (or folded items) in the box at your old house, then they take the boxes away in the truck and put them by the closet in your new home to unload. It saved more time and hassle than I would have thought! I cannot recommend them highly enough. I have them bookmarked for whenever I need someone again. It really made for the best moving experience.

They even moved my piano well! Good luck with your move!

Hi, I also live in Vancouver. You could try contacting the Clark Community College. They might be able to give you some names of college students who are looking for some work. I know that they have a bulletin board with things like this on it. Or maybe even Washington State here in Vancouver.
Or you could even contact one of the high schools and ask if they have anyone, maybe seniors, that would like a weekend job.
Good Luck!

You can always check out Craigslist.org. Sometimes I see people offering to help move or pick up stuff and if that doesn't work you could post a wanted add.

Check out the U-Haul site. They used to have a section with reviews of moving helpers you could hire by the hour. Good luck!
