Everyone knows it is very hard to find a good hairdresser. I feel it's even harder for me. I have long curly hair and wish to keep it that way. I hate big chain hair salons, they are informal and detached to their customers. I loved my old hairstylist in Louisiana. It was self owned wonderful atmosphere and they really cared about what you wanted. My biggest problem I come acoss most hairstylists is the fact that they always want to cut my hair short or straighten it. For one I love my curls and two any women with curls knows that short is a huge nono with curls. Does anyone know a great hairstylist pro long hair lol. Just trying to find someplay worth it. Very few occassions I can treat myself and I want happy experiences not nightmares. Thanks for your help in advance!

I totally know where you are coming from as I have thick, curly, & long hair. I think I struggled much of my life until I found how my hair needs to be cut. I have a wonderful stylist in Blue Ash. She works at Trendz on Pfieffer. Her name is Aimee. I know she is going on maternity leave in March but its plenty of time to get in a cut before she goes...I just made my appointment on Saturday. She is wonderful and can actually make my hair bone straight and not frizzy...in under 30 minutes which is something short of a miricle. I have a great cut that is versitile when you have little ones. Let me know if you need the number. Tell her K. sent you.

Heather Thamann @ Zahnies on Muddy Creek Road, Western Hills ###-###-####) - she loves curly, long hair... she is giving me a spiral soon, in fact. She is a fan of the 80's too... LOL! Small, cozy salon - you'll love it and her!

Amy at Mi Salon and Spa in Florence, KY is great too. I have thick long curly hair and will only let her touch it.
