I'm looking for a safe, comfortable and easy to remove and wash the cover. Does any have any recommendations. I looking for a super easy removable cover because I constantly was taking apart my daughter's car seat every time she vomited, which was often.

I have a volvo suv, so I just need to make sure these car seats will fit and not be too bulky in the back seat.

Any feedback on your experience will be appreciated. HELP!!!

What can I do next?

WE own the marathon and it is perfect but need to get the next size and my girlfriend who researches EVERYTHING to the extreme swears by the Radian 80 (or Radian 65, but might as well go for the 80) by Sunshine Kids.
www.skjp.com pr Bergstroms. This is what she wrote me about it recently
"I love it because it has a steel alloy frame, it sits lower in the car, has more rump to leg space (depth). It took a little bit of practice to get it in as tight as my Britax
(but now I can get it in as tight as the Britax). The seat is also slimmer, so it leaves more room. I seriously love it as a forward facing seat."

So this will be my next purchase she is my go to girl on items that have been heavily researched-so just another opinion!
Good luck!
watch the video it folds flat! WE traveled last year on a plane this would have been easier!

ola!
volvo makes it's own car seat! i know they have them for the rear-facing position in the station wagon. contact the dealer to find out if those are recommended for the SUV.

as for taking off a cover, my britax cover looked like it should've come off, but it did not. lots of spot cleaning...

We have a Marathon and a Decathalon and the saftey is fantasic on them. They are a bit bulky and the Blvd (our friends just got one) is even bulkier but has the extra side imapct saftey feature. I have removed the covers from both seats only once. The Marathon was easier to remove and took less time to clean and dry. The Decathalon took longer to get the puke smell out and took longer to dry (24 hours) which was only a problem because my husband had the other seat (in our other car) on a trip and so we were without a useable carseat for 24 hours. But I don't think I'd buy a differnt one even after knowing this; the saftey features are just do good.

I believe I have the Britax Marathon (~$275-$300 at Target) and cannot complain about one single thing. I love it... I always tell people that it must've been designed by a mom.

Nothing seems to stain it but in the last year I have washed (cover & straps) it 3 times and it was pretty easy to get the cover & straps off and back on.

I have the Marathon and the Blvd - and I love them. They are bulky, and I am often changing cars with them, but the safety rating makes it worth it to me. A friend of mine was in a serious car accident recently (they're suv rolled 5 times), and both children were in the Britax Blvd, and both are completely fine. The plus on the Blvd is that it has side-impact protection, which is why I bought that one most recently for my baby. Oh, and the seat cover comes off more easily with the Marathon.
