Hi gals! I just ate the most delicious sweet juicy peach! It was sooo good! I can't always find good ones. So, what's your favorite summer fruit? Im still looking for some good cherries!
Yummmm! I wish you were closer mama I would take those cherries off your hands! For you mamas in north tx the best place to get ripe fruit is the mexican grocery stores ( el ranchero is my fav). They are always good and on sale! I want cobbler now! I love y'all but I can't handle plums or blueberrys (pregnancy aversion and I still don't like them!) Well I've got 4 more peaches in there, I was gonna try to wait till tomorrow for another one but don't think thats gonna happen.......
I love a crisp, cold, sweet slice of seedless watermelon. And handfuls of chilled seedless red grapes! YUM.

Strawberries, raspberries, peaches, and plums all used to grow in my parent's farm yard and garden! We would just go outside and graze!!
Cherries are my favorite, but this years batch has been really tasteless so far and SO expensive. My favorite ones are the yellow/orange colored ones. Cherries make you sleep good, it's my favorite summer midnite snack.
Also love good watermelon. I always chunk it all up and put it in a container to make it easy to snack on when I need the fix. We had no spring so all the California fruits are retarded so far this season :(
I LOVE all the tropical fruits. Ripe champagne mangoes, juicy sweet pineapples, papayas drizzled with lemon juice, canary melons which are so sweet my kids call them "candy" melons. Yum!!!!!!!!
i love nectarines, but bananas are year round. and i can freeze them and make b-fast/smoothie drink any time. (they do turn black but still good in the inside.)
I'm deathly allergic to watermelon (darn! didn't used to be) or that one would be #1 on my list like it was when I was a kid.
Being from the NW where we get "autumn" fruits in the summer... I'm going to have to go with Blueberries. Particularly made into blueberry sorbet!

Im not a real big fruit eater altho most of the time when I have some I like it and wonder why I dont eat it more often. My favorite is tomatoes from the farmers market. Huge big red juicy ones that I cut in 1 inch slices for burgers or just on my plate. And then there are the cantaloupes,, not the regular ones, but the ones with the stripes,, I think they are called Tuscan melons. So good! And casaba melons.
Yum, I'm a fruit lover, so I love them all! I had some great cherries a couple days ago, and we've got some yummy peaches now (they're awesome grilled)! Watermelon is a big favorite of mine as well..I always cut the ends off and eat out of them like a bowl. :)

I adore cherries, but this year I planted a baby fig tree & just the other night I went out back to check on her & she's got her first fig!! Oh boy!

My favorite summer fruit is peaches too!! I just have a hard time finding good ones. I also love canteloupe, and strawberries. Fruit is great for my diet too! Happy summer===stay cool.

Peaches and blueberries. I have a recipe for a wonderful peach and blueberry cobbler that I can't wait to make. The peaches need to be a little sweeter. Maybe in a few weeks.

I also love jicama...but I am not sure if that's a fruit. LOVE IT with a squirt of lime juice, so good.

Love almost all fruit, but I can't wait for cherries to come into season locally. Last year we took our 2 1/2 year old to an orchard to pick cherries and it is the one thing he remembers about last summer and he can't wait to go do it again.

Hmm, it's a tie between cherries and watermelon.
Pineapple the ones I have bought have been yummy. I love strawberries and watermelon, strawberries are a hit or miss sometimes they look good at the store and other times I skip them. My last two watermelons have tasted awful though, we have thrown them away.
