I am looking for an easy and creative gift idea for Father's Day. I need something that will be easy to do with a 9 mo old boy. Dad is into electronics and football. Thanks in advance for your help.

I made him a photobook using Mypublisher.com
Love the site. Its really easy to use and they deliver fast. I just made it Friday night and got an email confirmation yesterday saying its been shipped.
And if you've never used them before, they offer a free book.. so you can get this for free!! I've used them before several times and have always been happy with the outcome.
And in the end, it makes for a great memory book for all.

I just had a t-shirt made on Snapfish for my hubby for Father's Day. It has a recent picture of my daughter on it. I chose a picture that is one of my husband's new favorites of our daughter. They'll print the picture on the t-shirt. It was about $19.99, and I ordered it on Thursday and it came in the mail yesterday. It came out great, and I know my husband will love it. I had one made for him last year too, and he really loves it.

When my daughter was just shy of one, I took her to a place called Paint and Pottery and put her foot on a little tile that goes on the top of a keepsake box. My husband took it to work and used it for keys and change and little things to keep safe. He loved it - though it doesn't have anything to do with electronics or football, but you can always design it to be around football or electronics.

Walmart has Tshirts that say something about dad and comes w/paints that you can make their hand prints with. I did that when our son was the SAME age for his first Father's Day. Its a white tshirt, and put down towels and have them handy for wiping them because some kids freak out when you put cold paint on their hands! haha! I think the shirt says "World's Best Dad, Hands Down!"

Hello there. Hears a idea but it doesn't have anything to do with electronics or football though. Its a little messy but all the dads seem to love this one. Buy a tee shirt in your husband size(white & the thicker the shirt the better). Buy some finger paints. Paint the baby's hands & feet and stamp them on the front & back of the tee. Write with perm. marker something special too if you want or even Fathers Day 2009.

One year for a Father's day gift I scanned neat/funny pictures of each of my 3 kids and took them to a shirt printing place. They printed the pictures in black and white on the shirt and it came out cool. I manipulated the pictures ahead of time on the computer on photoshop to add some visual interest, but plain pictures work great, too. I just wanted it to "wearable" for my husband and not a cheesy shirt that collected dust in the closet.

Ditto the T-shirt. I picked up a t-shirt and fabric paints from Michael's craft store, wrote "c's dad" and put my daughter c's footprints on the shirt. Now c is eight years old, and it's been a hoot each father's day to compare her growing feet with the prints on the shirt.

I also bought a t-shirt in the same color in c's size, and wrote "I love my Daddy" on it, so they matched.

I did the foot on a tile (I had a 9 month old at Father's Day too, 7 years ago!) and painted, "Daddy, I hope my feet are never too big to dance on yours" He loved it and still has it :)
