Get a white t'shirt and put all THREE of their foot prints on it walking across the shirt. On the top, write, "We walk all over Daddy!"

Last Father's day I went and bought a big post it note block. I had my two children color the sides of it. My hubby loved it. And it was a practical gift he could use at work.

One year we painted rocks and glued on eyes. On the back we wrote the kids names and "Dad, you Rock!". Hubby has them in his office as paper weights......

Have them finger paint a picture, then frame it for the wall in his office. They have special frames that are just the right size for framed artwork, and it looks so sweet on the wall.

Buy some blank wood photo frames from Michaels and have the kids decorate them and then put a photo of them in the frame. They can use paint, glitter glue or glitter alone, stickers, even markers.
My daughter has done this for several relatives and they always love it.

I have a friend who had their little children draw a picture of Daddy. Then, they dictated what they wanted to say to Daddy. She then framed the pictures, with their words typed out and added to the matte part of the picture. So cute! We just chuckle at what the kids said. I think she gave them something specific to say about Daddy, like what does your daddy do during the day? Or, what is his job? or something like that. You could have them tell you what they love most about Daddy, etc. Have fun!

A T-shirt ($5 @ craft stores) with hand &/or footprint of each child using fabric paints. Put each child's name under their print and something like "We love our Daddy" or " Happy Birthday Daddy" bigger in the middle of the shirt.

I bought a white simple t-shirt and helped each of my children put their hand print on the shirt. I let them choose their favorite color paint and I personalized it with something from me by putting small lips prints on the collar of the shirt. If you do something like this, make sure to put a piece of cardboard between the front and back of the shirt but on the inside that way you won't get paint from the front of the shirt to seep through and ruin the back of the shirt. My husband loves it and wears it around the house.

I had the same question a few D. ago :) Here is the suggestion I tried and it came out wonderful. I can't wait to give it to my husband tonight!...

I can tell you a gift that my daughter made (when she was 2) for her daddy and he still treasures it to this day. I had her (scribble) color on a blank white piece of paper. Then I stamped her hand on a piece of paper and cut out the stamped image. I also stamped daddy's hand on a piece of paper and cut it out. Then I went to Michael's and got a wooden picture frame that we could paint and a picture mat. I painted the frame white so that when my daughter finished her touches the entire thing would be covered. I bought paint in the colors of red, blue, yellow and gave my daughter one of the sponge paint brushes. I knew that she would smear the paint colors, so I was careful to provide her colors that would work well together when combined. She painted the frame and any area's not covered by her painting were white so the frame still looked complete. Then I placed the stamped hand prints on top of her drawing (with glue dots) with daughter's hand print on top to show how small compared to daddy's hand. Then I got letter stickers and spelled out daddy and _________ (daughters name), along with the year on the picture mat. You could always do Happy Birthday or Love You, etc. My husband was very touched by this and proudly displays it on the wall in his home office. Now that our daughter is 7 years old, it has even more memories for him. Even if you choose not to do this perhaps it gave you an idea.
Good Luck

My girls made their dad a tool apron with painted hand prints on it. They made it about 10 years ago and my husband still uses it. I love seeing it and wish I had one of my own. Another really cool thing is a picture frame that allows you to record a message. We also gave my husband one years ago and he still has it in his office. It's great to hear the little voices telling Daddy how much they love him. It made a great keepsake. good luck!
