She is fabulous - a great person & doctor. She diagnosed my daughter's congenital heart defect when no one saw anything. Very supportive, warm & kind.
Hi. I live near Wash Park and am looking for a new family doctor, preferably a female. Does anyone know of a good, friendly and reliable doctor in the area?
Thanks,
P.
Thanks everyone for your help! It's greatly appreciated. I think I'm going to try the doctor that Sarahmurane recommended on University Blvd., as this is not too far away from my house. I will let you know how things go.
Thanks again,
P.

Children's Medical Center at 16th & Marion is fabulous. ###-###-####. We see Karen Leamer but all the doctors there (many women) are fabulous. They listen, take time for you, are very thorough, are good listeners, and very caring. Sometimes you have to wait a long time but if you get an appointment first thing in the morning, you generally don't have to wait.
There is a family practice group in cherry creek north called Oasis Family Medicine. They are a great group and have wonderful women in their practice. They are at 101 University Blvd. ###-###-####
If you want a doctor for the grownups in the family, I would highly recommend my own doctor, Tambra Woods, MD, who is an internist.
If you want a family doctor for all the ages in your family, I think very highly of John Morrison, MD who is in the office building just west of Porter's. He's my mom's doctor and we think he's wonderful. I'm a physical therapist, so my opinion is both personal and professional. I've been impressed with his skill as well as his "bedside manner".
