I have really bad dark circles and bags under my eyes, it is inherited but I would really like to find something to lighten the darkness and get rid of the puffiness. I do not have a lot of money (will be a single mom of sorts soon) is there anything I can get at like Wal-Mart that will help with these, just tried regular coverup and it does not really hide it.

What can I do next?

Have you tried the Cover Girl sticks? There is one in Yellow and that is for under the eye, then there is a Green one and that covers up any red splotches on your face. Hope this helps for now.

You need to use a good moisturizer with cologen in it. When you aply it to your face you should take a little extra time to give your face an extra finger tip massage. Also try wearing one of those cold masks you put in the frig. If you can't find anything like that that works for you. Try some white eye liner. You can find it at Walgreens where they keep the liquid eyeliners. The one I like is called Prestige. You'll want to get the liquid stuff. After you put on your makeup; take the white liquid liner, and aply it to the inner rim of your lower eye lid. You'll probably have to pull down you botton eye lid to aply it, and try to keep it held down for a little bit after so that it has time to dry a little. It will make your eyes look more awake even if you're exhausted, and it should take the attintion away from the dark circles.

I just watched a show discussing over the counter beauty products VS. high end stuff. The walmart stuff won! They talked about oil of olay being way superior in market tests over the $$$ stuff. If you're on a budget I would go to your local drugstore or walmart and see what they have specific to under eye issues. I sell Arbonne and their eye cream is fabulous but can be pricey for someone on a tight budget. BUT, it does last a long while. If you were interested in that you can message me and we can talk more about it. I think instead of cover up products you need to get a good moisturizer there. Then, you can add a little makeup on top of that. You could also do a search on google and see what comes up. As a last resort, I would recommend seeing a dermatologist. There are many non surgical treatments for issues like that. And it could be related to allergies even. Good luck!

Hi my name is T. Billington and I am a rep for BeautiControl. I have a mobile spa business. I have the same spa treatments and anti-aging products that you can get at your local spas for 1/3 of the cost. I know that you do not know me and you get bombarded with all of the other direct sales companies but I want to show you that I am different! I could help you a few ways one is I GUARANTEE ALL of my products if it does not work the way I tell you it should you get your money back from me no questions just good business, second I will send you free samples so you can try it before you would ever buy anything, third I promise that you will get the best service possible I own this business and this is how I support my family. You have nothing to lose also we have skin care that is comparable to high end department store. I can also set up appointments to do consultations for skin care, anti-aging, spa, and makeovers.

The best things for darkness around the eyes is moisture I recommend out Platinum Eye Creme it is $31 and should last using twice a day about three months.

I would love to help!

Being a massage therapist I am always looking for natural ways to take care of problems. It really takes 3 things to fight the dark circles: moisturizing the skin, cooling the skin, and stimulating the skin. Moisturizing aids in elimination of dark circles by dehydrating the skin. By cooling the skin you help reliev the stress near and around the eyes. When you stimulate the skin it brings blood flow into the eye area thus causing it to apear more alive. Below are some natural home treatments.

· Cut an unwaxed cucumber into slices, cool in refrigerator and place on eyes for 10 minutes. (feels amazing!)
· Massage with almond oil under and around eyes.
· Massage with peanut oil under and around eyes.( CAUTION IF YOU HAVE A NUT ALLERGY)
· Place two tea bags (preferably chamomile tea) in cold water for 5 minutes, than place on eyes for 10 minutes. (CAUTION IF YOU HAVE HAY FEVER)
· Apply a paste of turmeric powder with pineapple juice, rinse after 5 minutes (DON'T GET IN EYES).
· Grate an unwaxed cucumber or a small scrubbed (preferably red) potato. Put the gratings on two gauze pads, than place on eyes for 10 minutes.
· Apply a mixture of lemon juice and tomato juice, let sit for 5 minutes, than rinse (be sure not to get into eyes).
· Apply crushed mint leaves under the eyes for 20 minutes.
· Dip cotton balls in rose water and apply to under eye for 10 minutes.
· Eat foods rich in vitamin E, vitamin C, and iron
