Warning about Craig's List -- be prepared for people to not show up when they say that they will. It is frustrating! Also, be sure to read the scam info. on Craigslist, and check the "no it is not okay to contact me about other interests" box. I would also not post pics of my kids faces in clothes or whatever and post it on the site, just to be on the safe side. If you do that, then it is a great FREE way to sell things! I seem to have better luck posting on a Friday as people will want to shop on the weekend, and I've sold a TON of things on there. Good luck!

I have sold on both e-bay and craigslist. I would recommend craigslist. I somehow always end up paying or breaking even on ebay...it is always something, not charging enough for shipping or things don't sell for much and the fees they take out make it hard to even break even sometimes. Craigslist is local, no fees and you can ask for cash only transactions. Goodluck!

I would recommend craigslist over ebay also! If you do ebay it tends to break even or you owe even as the seller due to the fees. Or try a second hand shop like once upon a child or childrens exchange. (I like once upon a child or craigslist a lot better)

hello, E-Bay is good but they charge you to sell- I would recommend Craig's List, it is free and you sell to Local people you don't have to worry about shipping. You just have to be careful with Craig's List, don't except ANYTHING but cash. E-Bay is good, like I said they charge you whether it sells or not. I would try Craig's list and then put it on E-Bay if it doesn't sell there. Good Luck.

Totally agree about craigslist. I have sold my daughter's crib, changing table, infant car seat, bouncer, jumperoo, and bumbo chair. It all sold withing a couple of days. I really needed to get ride of it so I would post them a little cheaper than anyone else was and didn't have a problem selling it.

It depends on what you are selling - large items do better locally - I love craigslist. I sell on ebay a few times a year- mostly designer/boutique kids outgrown clothing - I sell it myself b/c resale stores are a rip-off and I do give tons away to friends as well.

I just sold over $600 in one week (just little girls size 3 and 4 clothing - not that much of it!)
