Dublin with Kids

Anybody have any suggestions for where to take kids in Dublin, Ireland?

Edit: Keep 'em coming. We'll have a young adult and a teenager in tow, too, so to know that we can all take a tour is nice. As long as DD can get fish and chips, she'll be fine re: food. She only likes McD's for the fries and toys anyway.

So What Happened?

Ended up that DH, DD and I did a free walking tour and the whole family went to the Guinness Storehouse. We didn't have a lot of time to see the Book of Kells or things like that.

Take the city tour, which includes a tour of Guinness, plus a free pint...the kids get a soda. The view is spectacular.

If you have time, look into the Paddy Wagon tour company....I went with my college daughter and they are designed for college kids as there is a lot of time reserved for pubs in the evening.

Also, check out Rick Steve's guidebooks.

Have fun!!

We took ours to the guiness factory. They liked it well enough, but we spent most of our trip driving up north seeing the sights. If you do get up north the Giants Causeway is really cool and the ring of kerry is a beautiful drive although the road could use some work.
