I drank lemonade when I was pregnant. My doctor suggested it. It helped with the morning sickness too.
Hi Amy I am a 31 year old mom of three and I experienced similiar symptoms with my pregnancies. I do have hypothyroid and this can be effected during pregnancy. Maybe ask your doctor to test you for hypothyroidism, sometimes it may only affect you during pregnancy. But if not it really isn't a big deal the medication is safe to take during pregnancy and in fact it can be unsafe not to take it. Good Luck.
When I was pregnant I drank lots of tea. I'm curious as to why you can't drink it all the time. They have lots of different flavors and most of them are decafinated. Also to let you know my doctor told me that drinking crystal light is a no no while pregant because of the nutrasweet. No tests have been done to see how artificial sweeteners affect the babies. Maybe its changed now but I thought I would give you a heads up.
Anything with electrolites so Gateroade or Pedialite. Try to find something with less sugar and sodium. Mayne even just water that has lemon or orange in it to give it more taste. BUT also tell your dr, constatnt thrist is a sign of diabetes.
Carrie F is right though artificial sweetner is a big no no.
Good Luck
better tell your Dr.
You might have gesgational diabetes.
Dear Amy
I was lactose tolerant also. So drink lactose free milk, Soya milk. Try adding flavour (lemon slice , mint to your water). Too much tea isn't good. Eat watermelon (if available, cucumber, fresh juice). Say in your mind I have to do this for the baby. You did it already just few more months dear.

What about carbonated water (like soda water or Gerolsteiner, a sparkling mineral water) with a splash of juice and some lemon in it? If you're drinking a lot, you don't want it to be all juice or Kool-aide or whatever cause it will have too many calories. I also drank Gatoraide and VitaminWater during my pregnancy cause they were lower in calories than juice, but very hydrating.
Try Fruit 2 0, its fruit flavored water, really yummy!
I would have to agree water does get boring, since you cant drink regular milk you should try almond milk vanilla its very good, im not sure about the sugar in it so you would have to real the label at the store but its diffrent, not like soy milk at all.
I had the same problem in my last trimester, I ate alot of popicicles and jello. I found that I really wanted something cold over the liquid. Also you could try sprite or something like that.
