I LOVE the City Mini Double. What E. says is true about maneuvering, etc. I have 2 very large kids and a Boxer who walks alongside with no problems.
I am expecting my second child in early November. At that time, my daughter will be 20 months old. I have been looking at the Graco Quattro Tour double stroller, as we plan to reuse our Graco Snugride infant car seat with baby #2 and it is compatible. Does anyone have an opinion about this stroller? Is there another double stroller that you would recommend? Thanks for your help!

I work at a baby store in addition to having a 2.5 yr old. Everytime I see this question, I always respond with the same answer. The City Mini double is the BEST double out there. It is a side by side, but fits in normal doorways and is very easy to steer and manover. The tandom strollers and thinner, but because they are longer it is hard to turn them. It accepts many different infant car seats (Graco included). That's the best I can recommend to you. Hope you find one that works best for you.
I went with the Graco DuoGlider, since it was so much lighter than the Quattro. (At least, it was at the time -- 3 years ago!) Like you, I already had a Graco Snugride infant carrier. So the DuoGlider turned out to be the least expensive option all around. I was *very* happy with it -- and it has tons and tons of storage space under the seats. Aside from the fact the only pattern they had at the time was unattractive (in my opinion), I have absolutely no complaints about it. And, when you are toting around two under 2, the appearance of the stroller is the very least of your priorities :)
PS My kids have also been very happy in it. My kids are 15 months apart...so we've been using it a loooooongggggg time!
Hi E.,
I'm out of the market for strollers, but just out of curiosity, I did a mampedia search using the words "double stroller". Got 983 results!! You may want to do a quick stroll (no pun intended) through these and see if it helps.
Congrats on #2!!
My sister has the quattro tour and she loves it... I have the duo glider and love it just as much! the ONLY thing I like better about hers is it has 2 cupholders on top instead of 1. The duo glider is a lot lighter and just as easy to push and steer AND it's less expensive! :o) Good luck and congrats!
I have it and I have a love hate relationship with it. Pros: kids sit in their own seat, toddler cannot hit the baby because he is in front. toddler can nap in this stroller. folds easily. you can push this with one hand. works easily with the carseat. It was relatively inexpensive ($225 at baby's r u--I also have a bugaboo....so there you go) Cons: IT"S HUGE!! I live in manhattan and this thing is the dominent focal point of our living room. Boo. It's so heavy. And though it fits in the back of our Nissan Versa, it is a negotiation every time.
Hi. I have answered a similar question twice, very recently. This seems to be a hot topic. The posts can be found here:

I have this stroller and LOVE it!! I used it with children 2 and 3 and will now be using it for 3 and 4 come August. :) Congrats!!
I would get the Baby Trend Sit and Stand stroller. I bought it to use with the infant carrier and my 2 year old. The Graco Snug ride infant seats snaps in perfectly. Now my 14 month old sits in the regular part of the seat with a snack tray and my 3 year old still likes to ride on it. We have taken it everywhere. I also have the babyjogger double side by side stroller and it is a awesome stroller also. It has the big wheels and is very durable for walks or hills etc... It was about $300 more than the other one.
The Graco Quattro is a beast. It is huge, heavy, and awkward. My daughter was about the same age as your daughter when my son was born and we opted for the phil and ted's sport. I had several friends tell me not to waste the money on the Vibe because the bottom seat is too small for a growing child. I'm glad I listened. My kids love their stroller and it has been amazing. I didn't want to spend the money that phil and ted's go for so I bought a brand new one with the double set on Ebay for several hundred less than the normal asking price. I couldn't be happier.
You can also get a wheel board for your current stroller if you think your daughter would like that. It would save you a lot of money and you could keep using your current stroller. We used one and my daughter loved it until she gave up her naps and needed to be in a stroller again to sleep in the day.
Congrats on #2!
My kids are 21 months apart, and I just want to suggest that you don't make compatibility with your infant carseat the deciding factor in your search for a double stroller.
I only used the carseat carrier for about 7 months before my daughter ourgrew it, but my double stroller I used for almost 3 years.
I thought I wanted a Graco double to fit with my infant carseat, but after test driving them at the store it was just too bulky for me to fold and store, and it felt like driving a bus. I went with a Maclaren side-by-side, and even though I had to transfer the baby from the infant carseat, I was SO happy with the stroller--LOVED it!!! I know if I had picked the Graco double, I would have been stroller shopping again after a year.
So which ever stroller you pick, make sure you love it even without the infant car seat.
