So im going to be investing in a second double stroller and my first one was pretty expesive and I have only used it about a dozen times because its so hard to control. I really want to get a good one this time so I wanted to see if anyone had one they really liked? We are going to disneyland for 3 days so I need one that can definitely handle that. My childern are one and two so they both take naps pretty much at the same time so one that both seats recline would be GREAT!

What can I do next?

Buy from a second hand store.. Once Upon A Child has double strollers that litterly look brand new for 1/2 the price. I loved my Graco Duo Glide. It was so easy to controll one handed, light weight for a double and both seats recline. How ever the front seat does not lay flat, but it does go back enough for a child to sleep. Have fun at disneyland!!!

I had a Graco double stroller that I really liked. The one handed operation was smoother than my single stroller. I just can't remember the model. . .Duo something. . .

It was lightweight (for a double stroller) and fit in the back of my toyota Rav-4 with no problems.

Have fun in Disneyland!

We had the Eddie Bauer editon, I'm not sure the actual maker, maybe Graco? Anyways make sure you get one that is NOT side by side. The were Tandem I think, The actual seats could be moved so they could lay down, face each other, one behind the other. It was great, very sturdy and pretty easy to control. Hope this helps.

Hi W.,
We ended up getting the Chicco C 0.5 Twin stroller and love it! It isn't much bigger or heavier than a single umbrella stroller. Each side reclines independantly and has it's own sunshade. It also has a basket on the bottom (not huge but big enough) and handles quite easily. The only problem I've encountered is that is doesn't fit through a single door but it hasn't been a real issue for us. It's similar feature-wise to the Maclaren double stroller but only costs around $200. Have fun at Disneyland!

When my boys were that age I had a great double stroller. It was a side by side offroader. I wish I could remember the model but it was 14 years ago. What I do remember was that it was a cross between a running stroller and an umbrella stroller. Really easy to set up and the boys each had their own seat instead of one having to be cramped behind the other. Each of the seats reclined separately and I want to say that it was made by Graco. One of the best things about it was that it had double the storage space underneath. Have a blast at Disney.

Last time I bought a stroller, it was the Sit 'N Stand kind..which we loved and used all the time.

But, that's not the right one YET for you...Just DO NOT buy a side-by-side (or double-wide) style. Disneyland is too crowded to accommodate that extra wide business. I've seen this new style, actually at Disneyland last month, where the older child sits in the front and the younger child in the back. The back seat folded all the way down into a bassinet style, the front also reclined a lot. That should handle both of their naps and space to grow for quite some time!

Have a safe and fun trip!

hi W.. i love my double stroller. it was expensive...........but it handles easily, supper easy to put up or down. has little pockets in each of the kid's chairs. the chairs go back so each child can sleep -- i don't believe they go all the way back, but i am not sure. if i had to complain about something -- it would be that the bottom storage place although big isn't situated the best. i also have to lift it into a truck -- it isn't heavy but a little off. it is a bob revolution. we got it at baby aldridge. hope that helps.

Okay, so I am an experienced Disneyland goer with our two children and I have used a different stroller each time.

The best one we used was our Sit and Stand Stroller. I know your children aren't probably ready for that, so my next suggestion is to go with the umbrella stroller. We bought two $20 umbrella strollers and they were so much easier to manuever through the crowds. They obviously don't recline(but some of the ones that cost a little more do) but when they did fall asleep I would just prop their head with the sweatshirts we brought for them to wear in the evening. I definitely would suggest an umbrella stroller that has a parent tray for drinks, etc. I know they sometimes sell those separately too!

We took our big double stroller to Disneyland when my kids were 4months and 2years old and it was great in the way of storage etc. But such a pain to move through the crowds and we could never go in the stores together because it didn't fit. Hope this was helpful. Have fun!

You can get the sit and stand LX, it has 2 seats, and the back seat comes out and turns to a reg sit and stand. I got mine on strollerdepot.com for 160.... :)

My children are 3 years old and 9 months old. I have a graco double stroller, not side by side, or sit and stand. I absolutly love this stroller, the one in the back reclines almost all the way back and has a really good shade, the sit in the front also reclines, just not as much as the one in the back. Also it has 6 cup holders two for mom/dad, 2 for front and 2 for the back, it also has a little pack where you push where I put keys, car stereo, wallet sometimes. Along with a very good size storage on the bottom. The storage is really incrediable, when I go shopping I can buy all my stuff and put it at the bottom on put bags on the handles where you push the stroller. It drives very nice and I have taken it to the Renessanice Festival ( tons of dirt and rocks), mall, wild walks,or pushed it up my stairs!! (lived in a 3 story home!!!) I haven't had any problems getting my babys to sleep in it either(shade is wonderful). Another nice feature is it has some seats that help the children not sweat as much, just like they have in the carseats. Also it flods down with one swift move and one very easy buckle to make sure it is secure. I had 3 other strollers before this one and I absolutly LOVE this stroller.

When I went shopping for a double stroller, I actually brought my 3 year and a diaper bag and pushed every stroller around.

The only thing is it was 250 dollars at burlington coat factory, but worth every single penny. The one that was like 200 was actually bigger, didn't fold all the way down, and wasn't as sturdy as the one I bought. You may to check second hand stores, such as "once upon a child", or "other mothers" to see if you can find one cheaper. I really hope this helps!!
