Double Stroller - Yorba Linda,CA

I too had a rough time choosing a double stroller. I have a 3 year old & 16 month old. My best option was the graco duo glider. It does howeever weigh about 32lbs, I thought that would be hard getting in & out of the car on my own. But it works. I find it real easy to push with both kids in it & they both have trays for snacks. She just has to see if she wants a side by side or tandem. I also like the kolcraft contours because of its options but it weighs over 40lbs. Good luck shopping!

I can tell you what stroller NOT to get. I have the combi double stroller and the lock that secures it when it is collapsed broke on about the fourth use and the storage area below is too shallow and too close to the seats to use. It is light to carry but not usable... :-(

I have the best double stroller on the planet!!!!! It is the Kolcraft Contours in Ruby Red. That is the only color it comes in. I like it for many reasons. First the price is good..$200.00. Second I have a smaller car and I can fit this stroller in my trunk. The seats come off and they make it very easy. I don't know what age your sister-in-law's kids are but when I got the stroller my boys were 4 months and 19 months. The stroller comes with any infant seat attachment. You just place the car seat in the resting place and then you strap it down. It is very secure. The seats recline pretty far back so both children can be comfortable. When both kids are in the stroller you can configure the seats in different ways too. The storage basket on the stroller goes the entire length of the stroller. The only draw back is the fact that there are no snack trays for the kids. Other than that the stroller is wonderful. You can see a little video of the stroller in action on www.kolcraft.com. I have 8 month old twins and I originally bought the graco duoglider. It worked, but I didn't like it. I just recently bought the Kolcraft Contours tandem stroller. It is so much better and I wish I would have spent the extra money to have it in the first place.The babies can face each other and the basket underneath is huge. It fit everything we needed for a day at the zoo and we've taken it to Disneyland and carried everything with us all day. My Sister also bought this stroller. She hasn't had her second kid yet but my nephew is currently 10 months old and my sister is due with her second in November. She's used it with her son and one of our nieces who is almost 2 and it worked well also.
