I have two double baby strollers at the moment. One is a tandem Cosco brand. I stopped using it because my toddler's legs dangled and got caught in the wheels. I bought an older, side-by-side Graco stroller at a consignment sale that I really like, except my daughters are now "touching" each other and drive each other crazy. My older daughter is now 3, and could really walk beside me in most circumstances, but I gave away my single stroller. I have two umbrella strollers, but neither have storage.
I am considering the sit & stand strollers-- I see Fisher Price now carries one. I don't want to spend a lot more on yet another stroller, but don't feel like what I have really meets our needs. I need storage space, place to carry my 22 month old, option for my 3 year old if she wants/needs to ride, where they cannot reach each other enough to drive one another crazy!
Any suggestions out there? I know there are lots of consignment sales coming up, but it would sure help if I was equipped with information before I shop for a used one and have to make a split second decision!

My kids are 3 and 22mo also. I discovered that most of our outings were short trips and/or didn't involve a lot of strolling. So, we mostly use our umbrella stroller now. It's a MacLaren Volo and has a mesh basket underneath that's big enough for my purse, or for our modestly packed back-pack diaper bag (that's the other thing -- we simply don't pack much any more. One diaper and travel wipes, plus snack bags of goldfish, etc. That makes using the umbrella a lot easier). The Volo folds down to nothing, so we hardly notice it in the back of the car.
I just had to second the Joovy Sit N' Stand. It would be well worth it if you could find it at a consignment sale, but I would spend the money either way. I do wish it had more storage, but I intend to get the parent organizer which should help. Most of the time my 3 year old walks, so I can use the back for bags etc, and just carry them if she is done walking. It is soooo easy to steer though, much better than my single Graco travel stroller was. I love it! ~A.~
I checked ou the Fisher Price sit & stand,but didn't like it very much. It was hard to push & didn't turn corners very well. I bought a Joovy Sit & Stand & love it. The kids sit in diffrent directions so they leave each other alone. Doesn't have alot of storage space & no parent organizer, but you can buy one seperately from their website.
i have a sit and stand that i love but am willing to sell. we used it mostly to go to the zoo, but we do just fine now with my 3 yr old walking and my 20 mo old in an umbrella stroller. i could use the room in my garage!! Fundraiser for MOPS at Trinity
I have 2 boys the oldest will be 4 in May and they baby is almost 17 months. I have the Joovy sit n stand and I love it. The oldest usually walks but if he gets tired or I need to buckle him in it is a nice option. I got mine on ebay but they have it at babies r us too. It is not much longer then the single stroller. The basket underneath is a pain to get to if the older child is sitting and now they have an additional "parent tray" that is sold seperately. The fisher price model is much longer. Are you wanting to sell either of the double strollers?
We have the sit and stand stroller and we like it but the storage is not great. Its part of the are where the child can sit or stand so its not easy to get to.
We love our Sit 'N Stand! There are a few different ones out there now.
And I would definitely shop the consignment sales for one. That's where we found ours for $30.
My first two are 14 months apart, so we have had a lot of different strollers, too!! LOL

I was at Bye-Buy Consign yesterday and they have tons of double strollers and a few sit and stands. I wish I knew you were looking and I would have looked at the prices.
Today is the last day and 1/2 price day so go look.
