The BOB is totally worth it - we have the single, but I've tried the double, not much difference.

Any runners out there use a double jogging stroller? I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 7 month old. I will be getting one in the next few weeks so I have it ready to go when the weather warms up. I used a single jogging stroller with my first daughter. It was a cheap baby trend from Babies R Us. It was okay. Now that I will be pushing double the weight I need one that will not feel like I am pushing a ton of bricks! I need one that will be able to withstand some pretty long runs and the girls will be comfortable! Anyone with a BOB think it is worth the price? Thanks!

The BOB is absolutely, positively worth the price. I have one and love it. It's so easy to fold and store. The only downside is that it is a little bit heavy, so if you have to put it in and take it out of your trunk often it's a bit of a pain. It's so smooth when running (on many surfaces!), there's lots of room for your kids, they can sit up or recline, they can be protected from the weather - just so many great features.
I LOVE my BOB double stroller! You can push it with one finger...
Our good friends are both runners and LOVE the BOB stroller, they say its worth every penny. If you're going to do a lot of running its worth the investment. Its all about how much you're going to use it.
I have a Baby Trend double jogger stroller and I think it works great. It is a lot less expensive than BOB and other strollers. One of the biggest things for me was that I wanted a front wheel that swivels so that I didn't have to pick up the front end to turn. The Baby Trend has that. My kids are now 3 1/2 and 18 months and we still use it but my 3 1/2 year old is getting big for it. I do most of my running before they wake up so I don't use the jogger stroller for running as much but it is convenient as a stroller.
I bought a BOB when my son was born and I had a two year old. I am 5 10 and always bump into any stroller I push. The BOB is great for jogging and long strides, it's a great height and I pushed both kids on a hike up and down hills very easily. I think it is worth the money. It also fits through all doors that are wide enough for a wheelchair. Great for the zoo, the kids love it too! I am actually selling mine, now that my kids are 2 and 4.

The Bob double is the best. It is not too wide and folds up nicely. Also, ours has an adjustable front wheel after it is locked into place for running. You simply rotate an oversized screw clockwise or counter clockwise based upon how it is tracking. Most joggers do not have this and I have found that all seem to track a little left or right after some use. With the knob adjustment, the fix is easy. Good luck!
I did a lot of research when I bought mine about 6 months ago and I concluded from reviews and articles that the BOB really is worth it! It is easy to push and has great shocks. Of course, it's big and heavy, but so are ALL worthwhile double strollers. The one thing about the BOB that I liked is that it goes through normal doorways. Many, many double strollers (especially double jogging strollers) do not. Now, this may or may not be an issue for you. Also, my 3-year-old can climb in and out, but my infant is still comfy in her reclined seat. I opted not to get the BOB Revolution, because I decided that the swiveling front wheel was just not worth the extra $$. You may decide differently. I also recommend that you look on eBay and Craigslist first, because you can get a great deal on a gently-used one!
