I can actually help you. I own a furniture store here in Lawndale off of Manhattan Beach Blvd and Inglewood.

I do custom made furniture for everything in your home. Bedroom, Dining, Media and Sofa's and Sectionals.

I've done beautiful breakfast nooks with storage benches and a pedastal tables along with chairs or benches which ever you desire.

We have worked with La Bella Cosa in Culver City (not quite the South Bay). Brian does great work & they have VERY reasonable prices. I always thought that custom furniture would be expensive, but the furniture we bought is better quality and would have cost more from Restoration Hardware or Pottery Barn.

Y., we have used Rustic Pine on Artesia in Redondo Beach for many custom furniture pieces and they have done a beautiful job on all of them! I believe they are only open for appointments so you will need to call. Also, I have had custom pieces made at Larry St. Johns (www.larrystjohn.com) and they too have done a great job.
