My father-in-law is buying us our stroller for our first baby and has been doing a lot of research. He came across the UPPAbaby Vista, which I've never heard of and can't seem to find many reviews on. Does anyone own one or has anyone heard of them before?

What can I do next?

I don't have that one BUT I had a baby boy last year & went through 3 strollers before I found the right one. Let me rephrase that...I had gone to Consumer Reports & looked at their ratings. The top 2 were both over $500. I thought that was insane so I got something else. & then got a different one. Then I gave in. went to the "Westchester Mall" & test drove the bugaboo bee. I bought it immediately! It was/is so light, easy to manuver, well made & great customer service & assessories! If I had just bought it in the beginning, I wouldn't have wasted hundreds of $'s.

So my advice is...test drive!!! Find a store that has them & push them around. I (of course) would COMPLETELY recommend the "Bee". My son is a year old now & a tank at 24 lbs & still is in it & is comfortable!

Good Luck!

PS: I just read the other advice about the Bee not being easy to operate & I totally disagree. 6 years ago I lost my left hand & part of my forearm. One-handed I can operate the Bee easily including putting it in my car, taking it out & switching the seat around. Just watch the video & read the instructions. It really is a great stroller!

I never heard of it either. Best bet for a newborn...Graco Snap-n-Go. It's light, easy to open and close and best of all you don't have to wake the baby to get him/her into the stroller. I had a Peg Perego and Bugaboo and neither topped the snap-n-go. Good Luck!

Hi, I don't have the UPPAbaby Vista but my friend does and she loves it. Her son is one year old and bought the stroller a couple of months ago. I believe it comes with a pram bassinet for newborns. You can check out reviews on www.strollers.com or buy buy baby. By the way...my daughter was born last September. Great time of the year for a baby to be born but unfortunately you have to suffer through the summer. Good luck!

We own it and love it!
I am not sure where you live, it's not practical for subway use. But neighborhood amazing. we bought the uppa baby and had the big wheels --very hard to fit through the door and then got the thin wheels. definitely get the kiddopotumus ray shade too.
good luck.

Hi, I don't have that stroller but I just went through the process of finding the right stroller. I looked at all the reviews (even joined Consumer Reports) trying to find the perfect stroller for me. The Bugaboo line had great reviews on every site I went to but I didn't want a stroller that had to go in my trunk in two pieces. The Bee sounded perfect and had great reviews, I found one at a store in Short Hills Mall. Well, the girl that worked in the store could hardly work the thing and if you turn the seat to face you it is really difficult to fold up (you also need really strong fingers). The next perfect sounding stroller was the Bumbleride Flyer. That stroller was so bulky and again difficult to fold up. I started thinking something was wrong with me because the different websites sang the praises of these strollers. I ended up going with the Baby Jogger mini-classic stroller. It is the easiest stroller to fold up and it folds flat. It is extremely easy to steer and they have a lot of accessories so you can make it the way you want. The sunshade on this stroller beats the Bugaboo Bee hands down and has 2 UV treated windows so you can peek in on your baby. Another great feature I never would have thought of is that the fabric between the handles and seat (when the seat is flat back) is mesh, so air flow is great it doesn't get all stuffy. There is a roll up rain guard that you can roll down to cover the mesh if it is cold or raining. The first time I took it out all of the moms were commenting on it. I guess my main point is do not rely on reviews, you have to go to the stores and tryout the strollers because what one person might love you might not. A stroller that folded up supper easy and flat was more important to me than an adjustable handle. I don't know where you live but if you are close to Buy Buy Baby on Route 46 I would go there and try strollers, they have a good selection. Sorry so long winded. Good luck!

Hi R....
I checked out the link for it, but the first thing that caught my eye (I'm a mom of 3 ages 5, 4, 1)...is that there is no tray on the handle to put your keys, a sippy cup, a DD coffee, your cell phone...compare the Uppababy to the others...I have a Graco also - I've had literally 7 strollers in 5 years, not including 2 double strollers (of which Graco was my #1 pick), and this Graco I have...it's grey with grey, black and green circles, is the best...I got it at Babies R Us for about $160.00, I think, maybe not that much, check it out online...I love it because Ava sits up so nice and straight, the other seats reclined so much, that even when you had them in the most upright position, the kids still had to sit up mostly by themselves.

IMO, $650.00 would look better in your baby's bank account than strolling the mall!! LOL.
