N.H.
I have one of these and was disappointed. yes it is nice that I don't have tpo scrub, scrub scrub, however it does not always get the the spot out and I almost always had to use the hand tool to get the extra water out of the carpet.
Just curious if anyone has one they would reccomend. I am thinking about getting the Bissel SpotBot

I have one because I have five inside small dogs. They work ok. But also use a very good cleaner with them. I'm involved with a work at home business and use wonderful products and without them I don't know how well it would work. To get more information please feel free to contact me at ____@____.com also leaves the carpet very wet. But over all it sure beats getting out the big carpet cleaner for those little messes.
I have the SpotBot and absolutely LOVE it! The only negative I can say is after it's cleaned it's area, the carpet around it shows how dirty it is! :)
Seriously, I'd still have my carpets professionally cleaned about once a year, but for small messes the SpotBot is great! (I have a dog and a 2 1/2 year old little boy - we have lots of messes!)
I just purchased the Little Green machine or whatever it's called and I absolutely LOVE it. Make sure you get the one with the heating element. I have two little ones and a golden retriever and the cleaner worked wonders on my white carpet!!! They have it at Target for $125 I or so. It was recommended by another friend who loved it just as much.
I like spot shot. It works great.
Bought one and took it back the same week. Dog peed on the floor, which I know is difficult to get out. I didn't feel like the spot bot had a lot of suction. Left a lot of water in the carpet. Spot didn't come up.
It's a waste of money
we have the bissell spot cleaner (that's what it says on the side), don't know how that compares to the spotbot, but it has worked great for us. the only reason we have it is because my husband "won" it at work. the main useage was when we moved out of our apartment - the carpet looked great but i'm not sure whether the spots "stayed" gone or not because we moved.
We have a bissell spot cleaner and it works great. The only thing I do different is use really hot water, and I sometimes even boil it. Hot water is what really helps get your carpets clean.
I will start by saying to be really careful putting chemicals on your carpets. Especially if you have young children playing on the floor. Chemicals on your floors get on their hands and then, of course, right in their mouths. My friend had her carpets cleaned with chemicals and her son ended up getting Kawasaki's Disease. You should try a non-caustic cleaner. Household cleaners can cause this and a miriad of other conditions, inluding asthsma, respiratory deseases, etc. I shop from an online store and get ALL of my cleaning products there. I would love to share the details with you if you would like to email me directly at ____@____.com's too much amazing information to list here! :-)
My sister had the little green machine - think it was a Bissell. Anyway, she liked it quite a bit but quality wise the machine didn't quite hold up. I think sometimes you are just better off to use something like Resolve Granules and just leave the major cleaning to the professionals. They even have carpet cleaning methods where they don't wet your carpet. I heard it was really bad for your carpet to wet it/saturate it. Anyway, I know this isn't technically the response you asked for but thought I would put my two cents in. Having two kids, two I keep everyday (my darling niece and nephew) and two mess making dogs...I thought I would give you my experience with carpet messes! :) Good Luck.
