HOney I used to have the same problem with my second pregnancy and come to find out I had vertigo.
Hi,
My soon to be sister and law is having a few problems with her pregnancy and I was wondering if any of you had these issues. She is a week away from her 6 month. She was deathly sick the first month or two and after she passed that she had a good 3 months and now she is having heart palpatations and is on a heart monitor now. Lately after laying or sitting down for a little while when she stands she is getting dizzy. She is eating healthy and drinking plenty of water. She tests her own glucose and checks her blood pressure and that is fine. It has been going on for 4 days. Here is the thing she knows all about the hormones the blood doubling etc. She is just wondering if anyone felt this way also and if you have any tips. She will be going to the doctors this week but I just thought I would throw it out there!! Thank You
HOney I used to have the same problem with my second pregnancy and come to find out I had vertigo.
When I was pregnant with my second baby I had simliar problem. Turned into a big thing when she was born. I had to have a repaeat C-section. I ended up with Postpardum Cardiomyopathy. It's like when your heart skips a beat. You should tell her to talk to her doctor about too much fluids. If I remember correctly it was cause by too much fluid (especially though I.V.) According to my doctor it happens it's rare but it happens. My first doctor told me the palpatations where ok but I think she messed up. I didn't have any with my first or last baby. Tell her if she feels her dr. isn't taking this seriously she can switch dr. or ask for a second opinion. I also visited with a cardiologist. They might be able to give her better answers. I wouldn't stress out about it becuase that could make it worse but just tell her to ask about this condition. I hope I could help. If she finds out that she has this condition I'd be intersted to hear how it turned out.
Has her doctor tested her iron levels? I am borderline anemic to anemic when I'm not pregnant, and when I am pregnant I have to take extra iron supplements for the anemia. I get dizzy a lot when I get up from being in a resting/sitting position. I would recommend she get her iron levels tested.
Hello, I had similar problems with my children. I became pregnancy related anemic. The oxygen levels in my blood became way low. I couldnt stand in lines at the bank, or even grocery shop. I had to take extra iron to help with it. It did go away once i wasnt pregnant anymore.
I hope its something she can handle at home. take care
