Dinner and a Night Out

Looking for ideas for a larger ( 10ish) group of girlfriends to meet for dinner and have a bar/dancing maybe there or nearby. I'm a bit out of the loop! We're a 30ish crowd and would love to stay in or near South JOCO if possible.
Dancing isn't a must, but would be nice. We could stay in one spot or move.
Suggestions?

Hey, A. am so glad you asked this question. How about having one of the ladies volunteer her house and have a dinner/Divine Romance party? At a Divine Romance ladies night out is fun, entertaining and educational. You will be able to try new product, take home product at the end and maybe just have the ladies win some free product.

If your interested my name is Z. and you can reach me at home: ###-###-####, work: ###-###-#### ext. 289, email: ____@____.com subject line: Divine Romance.

All in all I want you ladies to have a fun outting whatever you choose.

I'm not exactly sure how far you are wanting to go or what not, but my best friend and I have started to enjoy going to Side Pockets it's a pool hall and they have a bar and decent food. It's a blsat mainly because we both stink at pool. I know there are ones in Indep. (not quite as nice as the one in Blue Springs in my opinion) Blue Springs and Lees Summit. This is the link to their website http://www.sidepockets.com/ and they show locations in Lenexa, Olathe, and quite a few others. It's really a lot of fun.

Depending on where you live there are places like Dave and busters, which is at the legends by the race track. It isn't that far and it is really fun and great for a group. I also agree with the hibachi idea, that is always fun. If you like greek food and willing to go for a little drive, Tasso's on 75th and wornall has a belly dancer and live music on friday and saturdays. My other suggestion would be the power and light district by the sprint center but it more of a drive. There is a club called "howl at the moom". I went there for my 33 b-day and had a great time. But I would recommend getting there early to beat the line!

I don't know about the dancing part but a couple of years ago the adults in my husband's side of the family went to a hibachi grill for dinner. There was about 8 of us and we had a blast! They cook everything right in front of you on the grill and put on a little show as well while they cook. They had a good variety of food, not just oriental food so everyone found something that they liked. It was a great place to let our hair down and enjoy eachother's company for the night without any kids. There are lots of them in the area so I'm sure you can find one close to you.

Hi A.,
You should consider going to the P&L District downtown. I was there a few weeks ago and it's a great place to go for dinner, drinks and I'm sure there's dancing in one of the establishments. The crowds are mixed, so it's not just for the 20 yr. olds, I'm 38 and there were gray haired people partying! The parking is close by to the district, so you don't have to walk far. I know it's not South OP but it's an option!
Have fun!
