I would call a store that sells leather products. Also, google leather repair. Hope it works for you.
My sons got into a tube of desitin this afternoon. They rubbed it all over my leather sofa and ottoman. I've wiped it off, but there is a white discoloration where the desitin was. Does any one know what type of cleaners I can use to remove this. The leather is a deep red color so it looks awful!! In the past I've tried the Mr. Clean eraser and it took the die out of the leather.

if you can find a leather store they have leather cleaners
1-800-322-6569...thisis the phone number on the apple brand leather cleaner i use....you also need leather care after you use the leather cleaner...........they told me at my leather store(they make leather goods and repair them) to put a rag with hot water onit on the leather for 10 mins before using the cleaner because it gets the leather prepared for cleaning.
i use murphy's oil soap for reg cleaning of my leather but you have a bigger problem here......maybe this company can help you and either send the product or tell you where to get it neat you................hope this helps.
Mr Clean Magic Erasers are gret for getting stuff out of porous/wrinkled material.
i don't know if this will work since it was a different situation. my niece wrote all over my leather seats in my car with pen and i used a combo of hairspray and water with a magic eraser, and meguiars leather care. hope that helps.

Oily spots often can be lifted out with corn starch. Rub on corn starch and then brush it out. Keep repeating until you think it'll never all come out, then do it a few more times. It's worked for me many times but I haven't tried it on a leather sofa. Good Luck!
See this website www.homefurnish.com article "how to remove stains from a leather sofa". Hope this helps.
I was afraid to buy leather while my guys were little. They are 8, 9 & 11 now and I still don't have leather!

You can get excellent leather cleaner and conditioner at any auto shop. I use it on my leather car seats and have always been able to get out any sticky foods or ink stains.
