He's great with everybody and he's a great dentist
Hey there. I just moved to MI recently and need to take both of my daughters to the dentist. It will be their first time and I haven't a clue where to go!
Currently, we are living in the Sterling Heights area and will re-locate to the Farmington Hills Novi area in due time.
Suggestions for both areas would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance...
Thanks for responding...unfortunately none of the dentists recommended were on our insurance. I tried to submit a new request recently but I did not get any answers.
I suppose I'll have to just pick a name out of our book!
Thanks again for trying to help...I really appreciate it!

knollwood dental care is a good office in sterling heights. they are at 15 mile and schoenherr. hope this helps.
I would recommend the Pediatric Dentist offices on 17 & Garfield. The are wonderful and I have never had a problem with my children and the hygenists or dentists. They take the kids back with out mom and dad, to a big open room so they can see all the kids getting their teeth cleanings and I think that helps to calm any fears from each other. Also the office has both pediatric dentists and orthodontits right there together and if you have to see both, it works out nice.

I use a dentist in Sterling Heights that has been wonderful. It's the only dentist my husband has ever gone to...and when we got married, I started going there and now I see why!

On 17 Mile between Ryan & Mound. The office staff is wonderful - we love Bev, our hygienist - and Dr. Ellero is great. I highly recommend them.
Dr. Jim Caris is on Dequindre just North of 19 Mile Road at Farmbrook Family Dental- ###-###-####. He is great with kids and adults!
I see Dr. Simony. He's located on Hayes between 18 mi. & 19 mi. I believe he has a website if you Google him.
I really like the practice, everyone is so nice and professional. I really feel like he listens to me and is very compassionate (I'm a big baby at the dentist!).
Dr. John and Cathy Dinka
Tiffany Drive... (just east of Van Dyke north of 15 mile.. behind the target and movie theatre.. great husband and wife dentist..
There is a Dr Banson on 16 miles between Mound and Ryan (closer to Ryan). I am 29 but have gone there since I was three. He was great with kids when I was younger (i have excellent teeth--LOL) so i would have to assume he is good with them now. Otherwise there is a pediatric dentist in Clinton Twp who i adore for the younger kids:

We see Dr. Michael Booth at the ToothBooth. The office is at 32560 Utica Rd in Fraser, just south of 14 mile. ###-###-####. I have been going there for over 20 years and my parents still go. Dr. Booth does great work, I had a crown put on a front tooth 14 years ago, just a month before my wedding, due to an older bonding getting chipped. To say the least it looked great no one could tell it wasn't my own and it's still looking good after 14 years. Now I take my 6 and 3 year old there as well. For cleanings we see the dental hygenist Anne she is absolutely terrific. My mouth never hurts after a cleaning. (I always make my appointments around her schedule) She is also excellent with kids, just last month I had an appointment for cleaning and she suggested I bring my 3 year old back with me to watch 6months before when I took my daughter for a cleaning he wouldn't go anywhere near the room to watch and would have never let anyone clean his teeth. So this time I brought grandma to wait in the lobby just in case my son wouldn't sit while I was getting my cleaning. Anne talked to him about everything she was doing to my teeth and let him help her with the rinse for my teeth, etc. So when I was done he got to sit in the chair and I was only hoping he would let Dr. Booth take a first look at his teeth, but before I knew it, Anne had cleaned and polished his teeth and even brushed on the flouride. She was so great with him. He wasn't scared and his first dental cleaning was positive and fun experience for him. I just saw Dr. Booth yesterday to refill an old filling (if that tooth needs work in the future I may need a crown) but for now the filling is working, best part is my tooth has absolutely no pain or discomfort. Hope you find a dentist/hygenist you like.
