One I have always loved is "31 Days of Praise," by Ruth and Warren Myers. It is thought-provoking and positive. I don't have it in front of me, but I think it's about a page of devotional, a scripture, and a prayer. Ruth Myers has also written other similar devotions, including "The Satisfied Heart." All are very good. ("31 Days of Prayer is another one)

I also like "31 Days of Wisdom and Praise," which is a daily reading of a collection of Psalms and a chapter of Proverbs per day. By the end of the month, you will have read through all of the Psalms and the entire book of Proverbs. As you read it each month, verses will start sinking into your memory and just become a natural part of your thoughts, and God will bring the words to mind in all kinds of situations. It is published by Zondervan, but I don't know if it's still in publication - I have mine for 20 years. You can Google it to find it.

A book I've loved for women is "A Heart Like His - The Shaping of Character in the Choices of Life," by Rebecca Manley Pippert. It's a look at King David's life, through a woman's eyes. It is also older...in fact, I'm beginning to realize I've had most of the ones I'll recommend to you for a LONG time, so some may be out of print, but you can Google titles and probably find them somewhere.
"A Woman After God's Own Heart," by Elizabeth George - she has written others that are also good.
"Becoming a Woman of Excellence," by Cynthia Heald - also has written more.
"8 Choices That Will Change a Woman's Life," by Jill Briscoe.
"Help, Lord, My Whole Life Hurts," by Carole Mayhall.
"Let Me Be a Woman," by Elisabeth Elliot (anything by her is very good and very deep).
"The Power of a Praying Woman," by Stormie Omartian, and others in that series.
"The Christian's Secret of a Happy Life," by Hannah Whitall Smith.
"Hinds Feet On High Places," by Hannah Hurnand.
http://www.reviveourhearts.com/ - great women's radio program, and also has books and other resources.
Other thoughts are to call larger churches that have women's ministries and get recommendations from them, or go to several different Christian bookstores and ask and look. Also Google "women's devotionals" and see what comes up.
Good luck finding a few good ones to start with! I'm in the same place, and your question made me get excited about some of the books I already have!
