Babywipes have gotten crayola both out of our carpet and our microsuede couch... I'd give it a try.
A little one that I watch decided to find a random broken rainbow crayon and scribble all over my daughter's brand new rug! I've tried wax paper and iron, paper bag and iron, and the crayola website said to use wd40 and a bristle brush, which I did, but the crayon is still there. Any tips on how to get it out??? Thanks mamas!

Try Wipe Away by Citristrip. Removes latex paint splatters, lipstick, grease, WAX, chewing gum and other sticky residue. Good Luck!!
If all else fails, call in a professional carpet cleaning company. I know it's a little pricey, but at one point we had not only crayon, but also HOT PINK NAIL POLISH all over our white carpet... ugggggh.... anyway, a visit from the carpet cleaning guys, and that carpet looked new. I have no idea what they did, but evidently we weren't the first crayon and nail polish offenders they had seen!
Have you tried a hankerchief w/an iron on top?
Maybe try that. :( I hope it works!
You could try blowdrying the area to heat the wax and then paper towels to wipe it off while melted.
i've also seen where you can put ice on it, wait until it gets really cold and hard and then break it off. it might crumble off so you can vaccum it up.
Had this problem with a candle, so it should work with crayons.. You will need a Brown Paper Bag, like the ones from the grocery store, and your iron. Open up the bag along the seems, put it over the crayon marks in the carpet, now use the iron to iron the bag , the wax from the crayon will melt and be absorbed into the brown bag. You may need to use several bags but it works, and you won't even be able to tell there was crayon in the carpet.
