Before you go to bed rub a good amount of Vaseline on them wear socks , do this every night for about a week . A friend of mine said his father used Vics vapor rub , but I find Vaseline works for me .
My God I dont know what's going on but I am buying products to help my feet and they are still dry and cracking and peeling. When I use a pumice stone it seems I end of bleeding slightly in a couple of areas and it ends up burning. They do itch a little. What could this be? Any suggestions to help out.
I have already tried foot creams, athlete's feet spray & I am well hydrated.
Natural cure for cracked feet...Listen. Soak in cup of baking soda daily then file your feet softly, rinse then go over with a pumice stone, put lotion on nightly then socks over. You will see your feet being healing immediately! After a week, just do this once a week. My feet are becoming awesome again!

Try Heal-tastic. You can find it at any drug store, or even Bed Bath & Beyond for $9.99. My dad put it on before bed & putting a pair of socks on so it doesn't rub off on the sheets. He did that for about a week and was just about back to normal. I just recently started using a pumice stone while in the shower & using the Heal-tastic at night and have seen a huge difference in the last 3 days. I have a very hard time wearing socks to bed, so I took a pair of old socks, cut off the toe & just wore it to cover the heals. I love it and it doesn't smell too bad either.
Good luck
You know, if things are only getting worse and not better and you are moisturizing them then I would possibly think its athletes foot or something. Do they itch?
Non-prescription...Kerasal. It's an amazing product. Salicylic acid is the ingredient that works wonders.
Prescripton...Urea 40% cream.
You can find the Kerasal at WalMart and stores like that. I would say try it day and night for a week and see if it helps. If not, see your doctor because you could be dealing with a bigger problem.
Hi, I'm a barefooter forever!!! I grew up south of Chicago so the roads got pretty hot. I'd still go barefoot. every summer I had a constant layer of blisters on top of callous' with tar stuck to my feet. By Halloween all the tar was gone but nylons were a waste of money. If I even touched nylons with my feet they were shredded. I could run on gravel. I still walk barefoot, wearing shoes is a form of torture 8 >). I have cracks that go 1/2 inch up my heels. The skin on my toes peels in layers it really is painful. To use the ped egg means taking off layers to raw skin, not an option. The alcohol in lotion burns my hands and feet when it touches the raw skin, not an option for years it's been easier to just use cuticle scissors and cut the dead skin off and deal with it. They look dirty after I soak and scrub them...yuck!
I've been making body butter for a couple months now. Coconut oil & beeswax w/ Clove and Mint. I have REAL FEET for the first time ever!!! my feet look clean no dirt stuck in the cracks, I can touch fake satin without dragging it 4inches!!! My husband doesn't flinch when my feet touch him. I should have taken a picture of before and after.
I'm listed w/ mama pedia local businesses under Just Like Grama Mom's.
$1.00 an ounce + shipping no handling 8 >). Unscented, lavender & vanilla, clove & mint
It works on elbows & knees too.

One customer buys it for her son with eczema/psoriasis at his begging after his first jar was gone. He uses the unscented on his face, hands & feet.
Hi. It sounds like to have similiar condition as I do, where calluses build up and cause cracking. I went to a really good pedicurest and she gave me tips which I have been using ever since (5 years) and it keeps my feet from getting to that point. Buy a Ceramic Pedicare File (they are online-www.miracleproducts.com). I have had mine for 5 years - they last a long time. Everyday, after you get out of the shower and your feet are soft, dry off and use the pedicare file_use the gentler side) on the calused areas and you will see the skin fly off. Use in a circular motion. Then apply Kerasal (any drugstore, CVS or Walgreens, etc.) on calused areas - this stuff is great! When you do this daily , you will begin to see results. The kerasal product sloughs during the day and keep the area moisturized and you will see results after using it for a couple of days. The kerasal website has coupons for the product and I buy a bunch when they are on sale and I use the coupons on top of the sale. I also get a professional pedicure every 3-4 months, so they can get all of the caluses off.
You probably have summer feet! I have the same problem - especially during sandal season - and used to use one of those callus shavers to get rid of the thick, dead skin. But a few years ago, a pedicurist told me that only makes it worse in the long run. She was absolutely right! She also said that cracking heels are partially hereditary - sure enough, my mom has them too. I now have a foot regimen that has helped alot, but results are not immediate and you have to keep it up, forever - or for as long as you have your feet ;). I use a pumice stone on my WET feet (a good, basic, rectangular, heavy duty one - not those frilly ones glued onto plastic handles that break) every time I'm in the shower . Since it is sandal weather, which just exacerbates the problem, I also use a sand paper heel buffer with an unbreakable handle (available in every drugstore) on my DRY feet. I follow up each of those treatments with a good, rich, emolient foot creme (I use BeautiControl's amazing detoxifying foot cremes) and do the same every night. If you can stand it, wear cotton socks after you put on the creme when you go to bed. That will help your feet heal faster and keep your sheets cleaner too. This helps keep my feet sandal worthy . I hope it helps you too! If it doesn't, check with a doctor because the itching and bleeding may mean you have a fungus as well.
Sometimes peeling feet or hands can be a sign of dehydration. It has been really, really hot here in AZ lately. Are you keeping yourself hydrated? Make sure you are drinking lots of water.
arbonne, arbonne, arbonne- their foot cream is amazing. My mom and I had cracked peeling feet and you could see the difference right away..it took about a week or 2 to have baby soft feet again. I can find a before and after pic if you would like. Let me know if you have questions:)

Try Renew products. There is lotion, bath oil, hand soap, and body wash. Helps with all sorts of conditions including eczema. Also melaleuca oil would help w/ the healing.
Arbonne's Sea Salt Scrub and any of the Lotions from Arbonne work great. Send me a private message with your email address and I will send some before and after pictures of very dry cracked feet that now look like a baby's bottom they are so smooth. My whole family has always had dry, cracked feet until we found Arbonne. I do offer a first time order Mamapedia discount.
Sincerely,
Kay
I agree that this might not be simply an issue of dry skin...you probably need to be seen by your doctor and see if you have something like athletes foot or a fungus going on. Do you wear the same shoes every day? You need to be changing shoes to give them time to "breath".
I would throw that pumice stone away...if you do have a fungus issue, you are simply re-issuing the fungus to your feet each time your use the pumice stone.
If you have been using all sorts of moisturizing products, exfoliating, etc, it is time to let a professional take a look and see what is really going on!!!
Cake a bunch of vaseline on your feet/toes etc. and put on socks before bed and they will be much softer when you wake up in the morning. I tried everything too and this seemed to be the best solution.
Try Miracle Foot Repair. I think it is from Aloe vera or something. It works great to get rid of the cracked heels and dry feet. You can get it at Walgreens.
slather your feet with olive oil at night
hi there
try using that Athlete's Foot Spray..I had cracked skin for a long time and always thought it was because I liked wearing sandals.. I used pumice and all that stuff and it worked okay and then one day I used the athlete's foot spray and sure enough BAM........... what a difference in just a couple of days.. then oddly enough and merely coincidence, I happened to see an info-merical for some "designer" type of foot spray and one thing they did say was that wasn't just dry skin on the foot but possibly also fungus... (never thought about that) anyway.. you neednt buy any expensive spray. Pick up a can of the spray at Target (it's in a maroon and white can) and give it a try. I definitely think you will see some results, at least I hope you do.. I did and I am so pleased and wished I had figured this solution out years ago :) BUT if you also wear sandals alot.... once you "heal" your heals so to speak... do continue the spray and moisturize too.. best of luck
