I haven't used it personally, but read a blog entry recommending this website:
There exists a website that you type in the ingredients you have on hand and it comes back with a few recipes ideas based upon those ingredients. What is that site? Anyone ever use it? Thoughts?
Thanks!

You can do this on the allrecipes.com website under the ingredients tab. I'm sure there are other places, but this is my go-to site.
I usually end up just googling but I do use supercook.com sometimes. It pulls up recipes from all over the web. It also comes in handy because it keeps a list of all the ingredients you have and pulls up recipes based on that and the ingredients that you specifically want to work with, you can also save recipes on the site. Another nice site that allows you to save recipes you find online is saymmm.com That one is for meal planning too but I don't use that function.
betty crockers website does this. It is my most favorite website for recipes!!!
allrecipes.com, by far my favorite for this!
allrecipes.com. Can't say enough good things about it this site. I made a shrimp scampi over the weekend for a hungry crowd and got rave reviews...all from typing in ingredients I had on hand.
I use both Allrecipes.com and the Betty Crocker site.
They are both excellent and have a very good variety of recipes.
allrecipes.com Click on the ingredients tab, you can also add ingredients you don't want. I use it all the time.
Hello, I would love to know that one, too. I know you can type in an ingredient on All Recipes.com and it brings up dish ideas. Good luck....
Try recipekey.com. You can enter the ingredients you have in your pantry and it'll give you a recipe.
Enjoy!

I've used this site before and bookmarked it.

It lets you pick a category such as soup, gratin, salad, etc. and then you add ingredients as you go. It's a lot of fun.
Epicurious.com / I have used it for years & love it. They even have an app for iPads!
"FOOD SITE RECOMMENDATIONS
foodiamond.com
chocolarious.com
thesaladsite.com"
I've found several like that. And the way I found them was to Google "recipe for (what ever food I wanted.) Now I almost exclusively just google and not go directly to the sites.
I’m very passionate about cooking. I love researching cooking sites and I came up with this package site wherein I gain so much knowledgeable information about cooking skills. This Gourmandia sites has it all what we’re looking for, especially for a mother like me who’s always busy preparing dishes for my husband and my kids. This site offers everything about cooking; it has a wide variety of recipes and also provides educational information. I was so glad for having this site with me all the way!
