Consignment Shops - Fort Lauderdale,FL

A friend of mine told me how she got lots of great clothes for her baby at consignment shops. I thought it was a great idea considering they only get to wear some things a couple times before they outgrow it. Does anyone know of any good places in the Broward area?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you everyone! I'll check those places out!

So.... I went to the one in Miami - The Childrens Exchange. They were having 50% off on certain items. I got some cute clothes. For instance, a Guess jean dress w/ bloomers for $7.50. Some long footy onsies for $2 - $5 each. A Leap Frog crib toy for $12.50. The prices were good... not thrift shop prices, but probably better stuff. I'll keep you posted after I hit the thrift store someone posted here. Thanks again!!!

Hi K. (love the name! It's my daughter's!)
I can highly recommend Kid's Palace, 6904 Cypress Road, Plantation ####-###-####. It's located just north of Broward Blvd off 70th Ave but call for directions. Although small and filled to the brim, it is always neat and clean (I've seen some that are very messy) Also, you may want to check out Kidz Exchange, 12171 Taft St Pembroke Pines ###-###-####. Both places take your baby clothes, baby items on consignment as well. Good luck!

Good Day,
Here in Margate on 441, 1 blk north of Coconut Creek rd. 4 blcks S. of Royal Palm Blvd is a Womens in Distress thrift shop. They beat Goodwill & Salvation Army prices- most kids cloths are $1 or under. Plus the money goes to a appreciative orginization to help women and their kids! I donate there often-and only good cloths! Some like new! Last time I donated many cloths still had price tags on them! I hope this helps you! Truly,
Kathy

I don't know the exact name but I know there is a baby consignment shop in the shopping plaza on the corner of Sheridan and Park Road, across from Topeekeegee park. I think it is something like "Cute as a button??".

Good luck!

There is a place called "Family Thrift." It's owned by the pastor of the church. It's cheap. They have EVERYTHING there. It is located on 441 just past Oakland. A few blocks down from the Super Wal-Mart. The "Family Thrift" closes at 6pm.
