I buy consignment clothes for my son all the time. Then when he outgrows them then I just give them right back. They dont care, they expect it. They are a consignment shop!
What is the proto call on selling items back to the consignment shop you bought them from?
I have a few things that I bought about a year or so ago...That are still in great condition. I know I could make a bit off of them.
Do you do it?
Or at that point do you just donate to Salvation Army or something like that?
I dont think there is a specific rule posted at the place I go too...And asking just seems weird to me.
Cool! I wont feel guilty doing it then:)
Gives me more motivation to encourage kids to keep there stuff nice...I give them a little off the top of everything we sell...so they are not so whiny about selling the stuff they dont use or wear:)

The consignment shop will have no idea where you originally got the stuff. Go ahead and consign it. As Jo said, it's about the condition/wear, not where you got it or who had it before you. Just take it in as you would anything else and consign it!
You can put whatever you want in a consignment shop. They go by the condition not how many owners.

No rules about it - they are a consignment shop!! They go by condition and quality...
They don't keep tabs on your purchases. TAKE THEM BACK!!! :) You don't need to say "I bought this from you a year ago..." you silly girl!!!
As long as the condition is still good then by all means.
My motto is 'buy low - sell high' (although a consignment shop will not give you that kind of flexibility).
Absolutely take them back. If they don't want them, then you can decide from there. :-)
Don' ask just do it. They will tell you if the clothes are too warn when they insect them.
I consign what is in good condition all.the.time. If DS didn't wear it much or it just washed up well - no stains! Then I say it is okay.
Absolutely re-consign them! Until my kiddo is old enough to care about what style of clothes he wears, I'm "renting" as many as possible. Buy at consignment, then re-sell. Love it.
