Comfortable Pillow

Anyone know of a really comfortable pillow? I've been looking for years and no matter how much I spend I can't find a really comfortable one. Feather pillows tend to go too flat, and most other kinds tend to be hard on some level. I'm a stomach/side sleeper, and I want to feel like my head is on a soft cloud. Is this asking too much? Do I have to wait till I'm in Heaven and actually AM on a cloud?

The best pillows that I have found are the down alternative ones from Costco. It like $15 for a two pack and they wash beautifully and keep their shape. They have a piping around the edge and kind of wavy quilting on the covers. I am a side/stomach sleeper and these are the most confy that I have ever found. Good luck in finding that cloud!

Try a latex foam pillow. They are sometimes hard to find and can be a little pricey, but not too bad if you get one on sale. They are worth their weight in gold!

The longer you use it the softer is gets. I can't sleep on anything else and I take it with me when ever I sleep away from home. It is memory foam so it doesn't get flat but it isn't contoured. It is just a perfect pillow!

LOL Page, cute request! My pillows (feather)ALL SUCK right now and I'm about to go to Wallyworld and feel some new ones out myself. I think the trick is to find one that feels good at the store and use it for a few months and then replace it. I think we all hang on to our pillows for way too long and therein lies the problem. Some of the best pillows I've slept on have been at motels for some reason. One of the best tricks along with with right consistency is a SATIN pillow case. Helps with the hair and feels smooth to the touch.

Page,
I have a memory foam pillow from the sleep train. It has several layers of foam and conforms to your head no matter what postion I am sleeping in. I sleep the same way you do.
It has been the best one I have found for my neck by a long shot.

For me it's the Laura Ashley medium pillow. I get mine at Bed Bath & Beyond. I have tried a lot of pillows in the last 5 years and this one seems to be a winner. I am a side sleeper.

I'm a side/back sleeper and I have trouble finding perfect pillows too--soft but not too flat or tall. But the ones I have now, I really like. I've got one set from Target that was labelled "shapeable", and the other set is a down alternative from Ikea. Hope you find something you like.

I don't know how well it would work for belly sleeping, but I love my memory foam pillow from Costco that is shaped for proper posture for side sleeping. I also used to enjoy sleeping on a water core pillow that you can order online or from a chiropractor. Both pillows are meant to help neck and back issues, but they are also quite comfy and soft.

First of all, Heaven is a good place to be striving for occupancy.
In the mean time, I have several barley pillows that I use along with my regular bed pillows.
I got them years ago at Mervyns, and for some reason have not been able to find them, since. I would often go back to Mervyn's, but they no longer sold them.
Both of the pillows are small compared to a regular bed pillow, but, I like that I am able to conform them to what I need.
I always travel with one of them. Perfect for the plane and then also for the hotel room.

Try an alternate down pillow, and fluff it up in the dryer with a couple of tennis balls

Hey Page,, I actually buy the Joe Boxer pillows at Kmart and find them to be poofy enough to be soft, but hold thier shape better than some. If they get a bit flat I just buy a new one and since they arent more than $6 I can afford to often. Its nice to keep the soft fluffy feel currant plus makes me feel its more sanitary too. Try them and see..Otherwise,, see ya in the clouds!

I buy my pillows at IKEA. The are categorized by how you sleep side, stomach, and back. Then from there each has more than one to offer like cheap or expensive (only $19 though), down or not. I love them!

I'm sorry so late with a response...I just saw it. I have a neck injury so have had a lot of issues in the "pillow department." I am also a side sleeper...I finally found a water pillow. you can probably find them online, I got mine at a chiropractors office. You fill it with as much water as you like!...take some out , if you want. It was about 30 bucks, I think! not too shabby!
