White vinegar (not cider vinegar, which is brown and could stain some surfaces, plus its odor lingers longer, I think). Dilute as you need - I would seldom use it straight. Depends on the job. For wood floors, I would use maybe a cup of white vinegar to three or four cups of very warm (not hot) water, but it just depends. I tend to rinse after using vinegar on wood floors and tend to use vinegar on the floors only for spot cleaning. It was recommended by the folks who installed the floors, by the way!
Put vinegar and baking soda down the sink drains -- yes, make a "volcano" mix right there in the drain to clean it! Or just pour vinegar (straight) down it occasionally to clean and get rid of odors. Leave it and much later, pour boiling water down. Recommended by a plumber!
I would not use vinegar on a painted surface, but that's me. Maybe a very mild solution. I have used it on mildew as an alternative to bleach-based cleansers, but it doesn't work on tough mildew so go with bleach cleansers there.
I would test vinegar solutions in small, hidden spots of items or surfaces you want to clean. If all goes well, use it in a bigger way after testing.
