Hi Moms,

I live in Lincoln. I am looking for a neighborhood that has a spectacular display of lights, just lots of houses all in the same neighborhood that really "go to town" during the holidays. If there isn't a special neighborhood are there any businesses that do a lights display shows? I would drive up to an hour to see a really special neighborhood.

Thanks in advance & Happy Holidays,
D.

Hi D., the Stone Zoo in Stoneham has a Christmas light display. Not sure how far you are from there. You walk through the zoo and then over to Santa's house. There are little animated displays within this area. You can go and see Santa and have a picture taken. There are also a few kiddie rides too. In Saugus, not far from Stoneham, a neighborhood up just on the otherside of Route 1, down from Kelly's, have great neighborhood lights....there are two in particular that go all out. The road is the Lynnfells parkway and you just drive around the streets. Have fun!

Try the Stone Zoo in Stoneham. I've heard they do an awesome display. Not sure how long the ride will be for you though.

Hello,

A few weekends ago we took our girls 5 1/2 and 1 1/2 to see this lights display: http://www.milliswonderland.com/

It's amazing, we all thoroughly enjoyed it. I am not sure how far of a drive it would be from Lincoln, but it was awesome and highly recommended.

Hope this helps :)

Hi!
I know of a house in Concord that does an amazing job with lights. It is worth cheking it out. It is on nancy rd off of Bedford rd. I have not been by yet, so if for some reason this year they did not do it, I am sorry for sending you there for nothing, but they have done it for as long as I remember. Unfortunately I do not know of any neighborhoods. Good luck in your search!

Hi,

If you want something a little closer Tall Pine Lane in Sudbury (you can mapquest it) does a annual Holiday lights display - Almost every house in the neighbor hood does a spectacular showing of lights (probably about 50 or so houses, maybe even more). Just be warned that some nights it is slow moving in the car because it is a dead end street that has a turn around circle at the end. My kids just love it!!

Hi D.,

Years ago there used to be an actual "tour" that went through Somerville in order to see the lights and they had a make shift map to accompany it. I'm not sure it this still exists. Also, I live in Jamaica Plain and for several years on the Jamaica Way there is a millionare who puts on an amazing display at his castle--but it's just one house and I'm not sure if he's doing it this year. It's definitely worth it though if he did in fact decorate this year! His electric bill around the holidays is between $3,000-4,000\month! Crazy!

I hope that this helps! Happy Holidays!
P.
