Christmas Game Ideas?

Hello! I come from a long line of "gamers". We love to play board games or other games at family holidays and get-togethers. This year I'm supposed to bring a game to Christmas for everyone to play. My family wants me to "start a new tradition" and bring a game that will become a holiday tradition (we're also all about traditions :)). Does anyone have any suggestions for a good game to play with about 15 adults? Something related to Christmas? In the past I made a Christmas jeapardy game, we've played Christmas carol pictionary, and we've played a made up game where you draw a pix of what Christmas means to you and then you have to guess who drew which picture and the person who guesses the most wins.
Anyone have a new idea for a game for the holidays?
Thanks in advance, and Happy Holidays!

Although it's definitely not a Christmas game, whenever my family gets together for reunions, we love, LOVE to play mafia. EVERYONE gets into it--teenagers to grandparents. We have the best time. Here's the instructions:

Have everyone close their eyes (no cheating) and draw on a peice of paper on their lap. You can make up anything: draw Nana's house ~ or whoever's house you're at....(wait a litte)....draw a driveway on the left of the house.....draw your car in the driveway.....draw a sun in the right corner of the page....draw a chimney on the roof.,...draw Santa on the chimney.....draw birds in the left corner of the sky....draw the door in the center and then a wreath on the door. When you are done vote on who has the most accurate picture.

I just went to a holiday party where we played Holiday Bingo ... instead of B1 the squares were all holiday related things like Xmas Tree - Figgy Pudding - Holiday Ham - Toys etc you do not want any card to be the same and you should have 25 squares and about 50 words that are all randomly on each card and in a bucket someone draws the word. First to have whatever Bingo wins - we did many variations and had a "white elephant" grab bag. We also played a game where we boke into groups and were given a cagtegory ie Shampoo Brands - we all wrote down the brands and for each pair we got points - so player 1&2 matched but 3&4 did not you got 10 points 3matches 25 4 is 50 again winning team pulled from the grab bag. It was a good time and a fun way to do "Secret Santa" style gifts.

I don't know if this is actually what the game head bandz is or not but what about making a simple "crown" of contruction paper and affixing a card with some sort of iconic christmas character like Ebenzer scrodge, George baily, rudolf, Mrs clause AFTER the crown is on so that the person themselves can't see it. Then the person with the ruldolf crown can ask yes or no questions to the other players while they all mingle and talk and try to figure out what is on their "head".

or I've heard Apple to Apples is good.

My girlfriend plays BINGO at holiday time and all the kids and adults play together. The winner just gets a cookie.

There's always charades.

Some of the older adults may remember the game show "Name that Tune". You could do something like that but use only Christmas songs.

Maybe a game with Christmas movies? Either actor names, or quotes from the movies. ie:

"It's GINORMOUS!" - Elf

"You'll shoot your eye out!" - Christmas Story

"In 2009's A Christmas Carol, who's voice is Ebenezer Scrooge?" - Jim Carrey. "Bonus: What is another 2009 Jim Carey Movie?" - A: I love you Phillip Morris

Last Christmas I learned this game at a party and took it to all my families house and another friends christmas party.

You take a gift (Something as simple as some lottery tickets) wrap the gift at least 20 different times.

Take a set of dice, pot holders (the kind that are like mittens), a santa hat, and the gfit. Everyone gets in a circle it starts by someone putting on the santa hat, using the pot holders to open the gift. (Its hard) Meanwhile the person next to them needs to use the dice and roll doubles. Once they roll doubles they get a turn to open the gift after they put on the hat & pot holders. And the other person next to them has to roll doubles. It ends when the last person to get all the wrap off...and that person keeps the gift. It is such a hoot to play!!!
