Where is this? I have two children that need reselling. ;o)
Gently used. I'll clean them before I arrive, but no guarantees on their behavior.
Have any of you attended a Snuggle Bugs & Co. Consignment Sale?
If so, what was your experience? I'm attending one on Friday, and I was just looking for any insight as to what to expect, how to prepare, etc...

I haven't been to Snuggle Bugs, but I go to a lot as well, and I always try to leave my daughter with someone. It's easier to look around and really spot the deals. Also, I don't do this, but some people bring strollers or various carts to carry around their stuff. Also, really be careful when it comes to prices. I've gone to some where the consigners were just asking way to much for their items. I try not to spend more than 25%-30% of the retail price.
I've not been to that one but I've been to a dozen or so others and I LOVE them.
Here's my advice:
Don't take your kids unless they are 6months or younger, chances are they will beg or break stuff (plus many sales prefer to be as kid free as possible)
Get there early on the first day for the best selections.
Get there early on the final day if they offer 50% off for the best selection of the picked through items.
Take your own bags (most don't offer them)
Check items very carefully.
Clothing more then anything.
Toys for broken parts. If they require batteries make sure they work (most sales require batteries be in the items so people can see they do work)
If you think you want an item, pick it up when you see it. Someone else won't have a problem taking something you are just staring at.
Good luck on fidning great deals and have fun!
I love consignment sale 'season'
I typically consign at Snugglebugs but it wasn't in the cards this time around.
Let me just say this...if you are going to the 'public presale' you will be greeted with a HUGE selection to choose from BUT in return you will wait in LONG lines to have your items prepped for check out and then finally checked out. Prepare to spend A LOT of time there going though everything and then waiting in line to purchase it. I know you're pregnant so I am not sure how long you are comfortable on your feet.
Another thing to consider is that they do not pay to heat or cool the 'store' so keep that in mind. The store can be sweltering hot or cool/cold.
If you have any other questions, PM me. Happy shopping.
