Get the anti-chafing gel - available at sports stores everywhere. This is a common problem and don't be embarassed by it. I just saw it the other day at a bike shop too.
Try baby powder in the interim, until you can get some of that gel.
First a little history...I had my 2nd baby in December and a copper IUD put in about 3 weeks ago. Here is my issue. When I was pregnant I had excess moisture that was normal with being pregnant. Now that I am no longer pregnant I still have it. I am experiencing chafing on the inside of my thighs and it is very uncomfortable. I know some of it is due to weight gain from pregnancy and I am working on that but since my inside thighs rub together with the excess moisture it is contributing to the chafing. I have a follow up appointment with my OB/GYN in a few weeks and will address the issue with her at that time also, but just wanted some advise before then.
Has anyone else experienced a similar issue and if so what did you do to make it better? TIA
So I went to CVS and got some Lanacane Anti-chaffing cream and will give that a try. Thank you all for your responses!!!

Not sure how to solve the problem entirely, but when I was training for a half-marathon, I used something called body glide (I think) to help with that. It looked like a deodorant container and it just prevented chafing. I got it at a running store. I walked the half for charity so my chafing was due to excess weight and not my super speed :-)
Sounds crazy, but try putting deodorant where your thighs rub together. It's an antiperspirant and provides a protective layer against chaffing.
Diaper rash cream works great for chaffing.
There is an anti-chafing cream called Monkey Butt but use whichever works for you. Good luck!
To avoid it, baby powder and I always wear spanx or you can even buy a cheap version of it just to keep dry, not necessarily for the gurdle affect. it keeps my thighs from rubbing when i wear dresses. if for some reason i just done want to and get chaffing i use neosporin on it, you have to remember its like a burn.
The previous post reminded me- my sister who runs in marathons reccomends Monistat anti-chafing gel (sold in the drugstore).
Go to a sport or running store and get "Body Glide" it works perfectly for chafing.
