Carpet Cleaning Companies in DFW

Looking down and seeing my mulit-color carpet that should be brown, it's time to get my carpet cleaned. In the past I've used KIWI services and had mixed results. I tried one of those "$99" dollar steam carpet cleaners that had a coupon in Val-u-pak and they left my carpet soaking wet and somehow managed not to get it clean.

Do you guys have any companies you love that are reasonably priced?

Thanks!

So What Happened?

Thanks for all the great feedback. As I mentioned, I've used Kiwi before.. they are very hit or miss. Some technicians are great.. others not so much. Their price is nice, but I really want to try elsewhere. I've pulled up the sites you guys recommended and I am using your suggestions! Thanks ladies!

Marton's Carpet Care - see the link from the poster below. I'm planning on calling them myself in the next week ;-). They also do ceramic tile. They're very professional and family owned so when they say they'll be there, they'll be there.

We have been very happy with Marton's Carpet Cleaner. They have always been on time professional and they do a terrific job. I thought for sure we were going to have to replace the carpet in our rental property, he was able to save it-twice (and one time was after a tenant had dog who was not house trained very well)! Friends and my in laws have also hired him and been pleased. At one time he offered teacher discounts. There is an online calculator so you can estimate the cost for yourself...and he includes all hallways and closets as part of the room. We have found him to be very reasonable and would go nowhere else.

KIWI!! I have used the 4 times now and love them. The first visit is somewhat expensive (but no more than other companies by far and even cheaper than some and you can "make a deal" with them too, just tell them you need it cheaper and they took $90 off mine!) but then after that for the rest of the year is $25 and then $4 a room. If you refer a friend you get the $25 waived, so if you use them I would love for you to tell them I referred you :) They just came yesterday as a matter of fact! Oh and carpets dry in about 30 minutes (they say 15 but I think it's a bit longer but they are not sopping, just damp)...email me with more questions or to get my name if you use them please I would really appreciate it :)

We've had good experiences with Zero-Rez. But be forewarned, every company in the industry will lure you with the $99 special and then try to up-sell you extra pet cleaner, protection coating and other gimmicky stuff. Also, I think if a company has to come back within a year it wasn't right the first time.

Hello!

Joy Carpet Dry Clenaing in Plano. They are a husband and wife team and do not use water to clean. I had a filthy carpet and they got it almost looking new. I HIGHLY receommend them and they are reasonable for the results you receive. ###-###-####. Tell them G. Crichton recommended you if you use them. They give referral credits :)

Hello H.! I tried Kiwi and they did not do a good job at all. I have been using Champion Carpet for years now and they always do a good job and are reasonably priced. They can usually come within a day or two of me calling. Their phone # is ###-###-####. Best wishes!

As you have noticed the most important thing to consider in carpet cleaning is what are they leaving behind? Besides the dirt and grime that they sometimes leave behind, they always add to the problem by using soaps and detergents - which attract more dirt and cause recurring spots.
