Hi,
I want to be able to ask and answer questions on my iPad, but when I pull up the site, an ad pops up over the spot that I need to tap to ask and answer questions. I have tried everything I know of, opening the ad, moving it around, pinching and expanding the screen... Any other ideas??
Sounds like we are all having the same issues!! Computer it is until Mamapedia comes out with an app =)
Sometimes I hit "refresh" and try to click the Q&A link before the ad pops up there to block it.
I hate using MP on the iPad. They need to create an app for it!
I don't know how to help, since I don't have an iPad... but I know I saw the exact same problem from someone else a few weeks ago... so know that you aren't alone in your struggle!!!
I do have issues trying to use MP from my phone... I have to go to 'sign up', then to 'I'm already a member' in order to log in... I can't sign directly in. THEN I can't even answer questions... If I feel I have a good solution to someone's problem, I have to send them a private message. SOOO annoying!
I also wish MP would make an app...

Yep, we have asked them to help or do an App. Have not heard back.
I also do the refresh, or I go to answer a question and can catch an opening.
Very frustrating.
It's so incredibly frustrating, that I don't bother with MP unless I'm at home at my desk top -- which is why my input is sporadic at best.

I got an iPad for Mothers day. Never owned an I anything before. I can read and see MP on there, and get frustrated with the ad that covers the Q&A spot. Usually for me its Sketchers or Land Of Nod.
But when I have tried to ask a question its impossible. You can not put the title of your question in the bar, so it will not let you pose the question at all without all the spots filled in.
I sure would love an app as well so it is compatible!!!
I don't have that problem so it may be your browser. Try and find where you can turn that off.

Try a work-around---click on "home" then ALL the way at the bottom is an "ask your own question" button. Will that work?
Yeah, you can't ask on the ipad for some reason. Sigh.

I have learned how to be quick when using the ipad on this site...if you push the 'questions & answers' buttons as soon as it loads and before the ad pops up in the way, it will work.
Isn't it frustrating tho?!
All weekend I was offline so I thought when I got on mamapedia today I'd ask this same question!!!!!!!!!!!! Really - I know your question is answered but hoping that mamapedia's IT team will see the responses for an app - pretty please???!!!
