The NY Times crowns Heather Armstrong (Dooce) as the queen of the mommy bloggers... there are some other names in here as well. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/02/27/magazine/27armstrong-t....
Hi Mommas!
I have my lingerie for women with C-sections and extra belly skin and I haven't had it reviewed yet, so I can tell some women are scared to buy (I know it is kick-butt, but I am the creator, so no one is going to believe ME lol)
Who do you know has a huge (or even just "big") following that I could send my product to? Thanks!
Mamapedia: I did not name my product therefor this is not advertising...I really just need this advice! :)
Thanks for everyone who has answered so far! Susan, you had very good advice, and I wanted to show you that I was written up by Mom Inventors here:
http://www.mominventors.com/2011/02/02/our-mom-pr-program...
I also have my invention "patent pending" and am copywriting the pattern, and "SexCies Shapewear for the Bedroom"(tm) is trademarked. :) I agree that you need to protect your invention!

I would love to check this stuff out! With my c-section I wore huge granny panties up to my boobs to keep everything in place and wouldnt bother my incision. Where can I check it out? Sorry I didnt really answer your question.

Kailani runs the site.
She's terrific.

Go there for information/resources on how to get your product up and marketed.
They help you as well.
Also try: www.chicgalleria.com
The Owner, Beth is a great gal.
They are a good site/products online resource.
You could contact them to see if they or one of their Editors, will review your product. If they do that. I believe, they do.
Bloggers and its following helps. They may also review products.
But this is not the "only" way to go.
You have to maximize, ALL sorts of online venues. Which I have mentioned.
Just do a Google Search for "Top Mom Bloggers" or "Top Mommy Blogs."
THEN, you contact them. Then ask if they will review your product. Then you will need to send it to them. They will review it.
You might also, fully trademark and copyright your invention.
This takes time as well.
Also, you might have a Twitter account or Face Book... just named for/dedicated after your product.
You should or may want to, be on Linkedin.
www.linkedin.com
It is a business networking site.
This way, you can network with others, thereby promoting your product etc.
BE AWARE, that ANYONE can STEAL your idea... if you do not have it trademarked or copyrighted.
Do you have a "Brand" name?
that as well, can be stolen, if you do not have the trademark/copyrights for it.
all the best,
Susan
I would use BlogHer. BlogHer is probably the most well know and advertised mommy blogging ring.
I'm sorry for any duplicates, and I'm just c&p'ing from my facebook page :)

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!
EDITED to add: I wonder if any of the national consignment sales would be interested in you having a booth at their sales? Sunflower Sprouts is the end of this month. Just Between Friends is next month.
I'm a Mommy blogger :)
No I'm not one of the big ones :(
I just started last August and I have about 80 subscribers between Wordpress and Feedburner and I get over 2,000 hits a month.
Here's my link if you want to check me out:

Also, you may want to check out the SITS Girls (http://www.thesitsgirls.com/), I'm not sure if they'd be interested in doing a review...but they have a following of over 700 lady bloggers and they feature different bloggers nearly everyday. After watching their blog (and the commenters) for a few weeks, you may find a whole bunch of mom bloggers that you'd like to work with.
P.S. I did a search for top mommy bloggers and there were several lists of "top 50". I read a lot of blogs, but I'd only heard of 5 of them (and they aren't even ones that I read).
