No, you cannot. If you would like to update anything, you can go back to your original post and click the button that allows you to say "so what happened" and put in more information or additional comments. Or, you can leave that space for later on after you have consulted with your doctor and have an actual update, and in the meantime, use "edit" my question, and add something like:
"ETA: _____"
(ETA means Edited To Add)
