I get it ocassionally. Fells like a rugrat kicking but it's just the bowels moving...I joke with my hubby that it is the only way I will ever remember what the feeling is like...and I get the reminders ever few months...hah
Ok, so I have gotten my period regularly. BUT the thing is, I feel like something is kicking me from inside. Sounds weird? yes I know, thats why I dont want to go to a doctor yet. I have two kids and know what it feels like when a baby kicks, and thats what it feels like!! I have taking pregnancy tests, and they are all negative. What can it be?
I mentioned it to my Gyne and she said its probably gas or bowels moving around. But but but.... arghhh. I dont know what to do. any advice.

Multiple negatives... regular periods... it's likely gas. If you were far enough along to feel movement (usually 18-20 weeks), you would get a positive result by now!
I agree with your Gyne. I had my tubes cut and tied and I still will get those feelings every now and then.
Have you eaten any watermelon? My grandpa always told me not to eat the seeds, otherwise a watermelon will grow in your belly!
it's phantom womb, at least that is what my sis and I call it - basically it's like your womb is having muscle spasms - happens to me all the time.
I had a friend who had that same experience after 2 kids, except that she insisted that she was pregnant as her GYN insisted that she was not. No pregnancy test ever showed her as positive, and the GYN even did a sonogram to prove to her that she was not pregnant. Even after that, she kept telling me that she was and took prenatal vitamins and planned for her baby. Turned out that she was the one who was right, but it was an etopic pregnancy which was discovered when it burst. It could be worth having it checked further; you know your body best.
Trust the ob/gyn. I've never been pregnant but I have experienced that sort of sensations with gas and bowels moving. Try to relax and see how you feel in a week or so. Actually I don't see that you have a choice in anything to do except perhaps take a blood pregnancy test at the doctor's office.
Also, remember that you cannot feel a baby kick until you're several weeks along. Can't remember how long. So if you're having regular periods it's highly unlikely that you're pregnant.
I had crazy muscle spasms for a few months straight, about a year or 18 months after my son was born. It felt like a tiny squirrel was in there scrambling around!
That happened to me the other day. Its almost like you pause and pay attention to it because we have been conditioned to do so while pregnant. Its probably just digestion :)
Trust your OB/GYN. It is gas. Your HPT comes back negative.
It happens to me every once in a while too.
I've had those feelings too after I have had my kids. It is pretty weird. You would only be a few weeks along if you were pregnant and there is no way you would be feeling the baby kicking yet. It's just gas, but dont worry you are not alone! Totally thought that was weird when it happened to me too.
I had a muscle spasming and it looked like when you are 6 or 7 month along and they really get going. Only I wasn't 6 or 7 months along much less pregnant at all. I had over done my exercises trying to put this post baby pot belly to go away and the muscle fought back.
I agree with the others. After having babies, I started noticing gas pains that felt like little kicks. I think it's because my muscles are stretched, so all my sitff sits differently than it did before and I can feel gas pains more now.
Gas.
I never felt that either until I had my child.
It's gas. It has happened to me from time to time also after both of my pregnancies over the last decade with no new baby to show for it for me to be confident that your doctor is correct.
I have the same thing from time to time, and it stops me in my tracks. It feels exactly like when my babies were in there kicking.
That's crazy. Your Doc needs to do an ultrasound and at the very least a pregnancy test (home pregnancy tests are not as accurate). You absolutely need to get on this in case you are pregnant. You need extra vitamins (folic acid) and to make sure you aren't drinking/ smoking if you are. If you are feeling kicking, you are very far along. Please get to your Doctor or a Doctor who will figure this out quickly!
Good luck!

Did your doctor run a blood test and do an ultra sound? Until that happens and rules out pregnancy, then you could be pregnant. Otherwise your doctor is probably right and what she said could indeed be causing the infamous phantom baby kicks.
