Hi gals,
I have some fudge cooling on the counter top. Im headed to the store for more chocolate because I realized I need to add more to the mix. Will this be okay? Or can I just re-heat the cooled fudge and add the chocolate to it that way?

I cant simply make another batch I'm doing some artsy fartsy designs

THanks

What can I do next?

It may or may NOT work. Chocolate is so tricky.

What are you making anyway? Topping? Candy?

yes just reheat when you get home - or pour the melted chocolate on top.. drizzled in a zig zag fashion over the top to make it shmancy... hehe!

Sure you can add hot to cooled fudge, if you do it here in my kitchem with me standing next to you with a spoon!

If it's hot fudge like you buy in a jar for an ice cream topping? I think that shouldn't make any difference.

But regular chocolate can be tricky. I wouldn't add VERY hot to VERY cold, temper it a little, you know?

You aren't that far away from me!!! Wait and I'll come up and help you with the fudge!! You might not have much left - but you won't have to worry about mixing it!!! :)

I don't think there would be a problem at all for mixing - I would wait until the hot became room temperature!!

Sounds yummy!!!
