I wouldn't even do the raisin thing...
Too scary...of a situation.. I just took CPR class and RN advised us not to give raisins period.
I was snacking on some the other day and my toddler had a bit of the yogurt part and was begging for more. Is it OK to give him this? I would cut them in half of course... just wasn't sure about raisins if it was OK for them or not...

my daughter is older now (2 1/2), but I feel like she's been eating raisins forever! They're one of her favorite foods. She likes the yogurt covered ones too. I say just keep an eye on him. If he seems to be doing ok with them and he has enough teeth, they're probably ok.
According to our pediatrician, the advice from the American Academy of Pediatrics is that they can eat anything that's not a choking hazard.
If she has a full set of teeth and is a generally good chewer, I'd say go for it. Our daughter's been eating trail mix since around that age. As long as you're there and monitor it, I think she'll be just fine.
My daughter is 20 months with only 5 teeth so far, and yogurt-covered raisins are one of her favorite snacks. As with anything, just be aware and cautious while the lil' one is eating!
I don't know what the 'rule' is for raisins but my daughter used to love yogurt covered raisins at that age. They are small enough that I would not worry about her choking on them!
its fine. My 18 month old eats yogurt and raisins every day. both are extremely good for them. the raisins purify their blood and help to prevent infections and the yogurt has active cultures in it.
yes, if she has back teeth (molars) then yes. otherwise i'd wait on raisins. my kids had teeth all over by age 1 so they had raisins at that time. they were able to chew them on their own. don't fill up the spoon though, and stand nearby just in case.
