I'm a mother of 4. I have the "baby itch". I know nothing will become of it but the thought is dancing in my head. I had c-sections with all of my boys. Is it even possible to have another one? Anyone ever had more than 4 c-sections? If so, please share.

I had 3 in 4 years and the last one was it for me. It all depends on how well your body has healed I think. My Dr told me I could have another one if I wanted (I was 32 with the last one) I said no thank you. Now, yes even at 37 I get the itch. Talk to your Dr if you really want another one and get his opinion too. Remember there are plenty of kids that need to be adopted and need positive role models : - ) Good luck

there comes a point where the risk of uterine rupture is too great - but after 4 c/s it is doubtful you are there. I have seen women who have had more than that. Talk it over with your doctor first - to be safe.

Each person is different. Some can't have more than 2 sections and some can have 6 or more. Your doctor is the only one who can tell you. It depends on how your doctor did it before, and it depends on the state of your uterus. Talk to your doctor and see if it's okay. I'm thinking if it wasn't okay, the doctor would have told you with the last birth.

I had 3 c-sections myself but I have known and heard of women having four or five without a problem. I had the same question after having my second daughter so I asked my doctor. My doctor told me a story about a woman having 13 c-sections and she had no problems. I stopped at 3 because I think 3 girls are enough for me to handle.
Good Luck!
