If you're talking about Bed, Bath & Beyond, this is their new policy and I have taken these to showers and seen many there wrapped the same way. If you prefer, you can add a bow or rewrap it, but this has become common.
Hi Moms,
I'm going to a bridal shower this weekend. I purchased a gift for the bride off a registry and the store wrapped it for free. Well, I assumed it would be in nice gift wrap. The store that I bought the gift from wrapped it in one of their store gift bags (has their name on it and looks like a bag that anyone would leave the store with if they purchased something there); I've debated on whether or not I should re-wrap this gift and make it all pretty. What do you gals think? What would you do?

I would probably re-wrap it since it has their logo but if not, it really isn't a big deal.
It it were me, I would re-wrap it!! It will look much better and show you spent a little extra thought and time on it. I just love making gifts look nice and pretty and love showing up with a nicely wrapped gift. If you have the extra time, do it. If not, don't stress! I'm sure the bride won't care too much either way though. ^_^
I would have to see it to say for sure, but I do not think the bride will really care about the wrapping anyhow.
Absolutely re-wrap it! This is a special occasion and wrapping paper is not expensive. :)
I agree with everyone I think.
First of all, the bride and noone else will care. The fact that you posted this question shows that it bugs you so go ahead and re-wrap it. I would. But I LOVE to wrap packages. I love making my (sometimes lame) gift look like something amazingly beautiful. Re-wrap it and you'll relax at the shower. Otherwise- you may eye all the other presents and see if anyone else brought a'logo-wrapped' gift and you'll feel like your gift was lame b/c you left it the way it was.
Definitely, "make it all pretty".
rewrap, especially if it has the store logo on it, i hate that
